The people of Draztonia are highly unpleased with the way their government attempted to settle the Maxxian-Famiconian conflict, and demand a regime change. Therefore, emergency elections will be held.
The following parties are expected to get the highest results.
DSP: the Draztonian Socialist Party
These guys are mostly concerned about Welfare and Social Equality
CD: the Conservative Draztonians
Just your regular, all the money for the rich, conservatives.
PAX: Pacifists Against Xenophobia
As the name implies, pacifists. Against racism.
DMP: Draztonian Maglite Party
The Draztonian Maglite Party is a religious party, consisting of thos who worship Othar and Halla Magli. They wish to make Maglism the Draztonian state religion.

Judging from the latest polls it appears to be a tie between the socialists and the maglites, with PAX coming close behind. The conservatives are doing exceptionnelly bad.
We wish you luck in your elections, especially to the Maglites, seeing President McRippa is an avowed member of the Yoshiville Magli Temple.
And we also hope you can get rid of that awful pacifistical mentality.

After a second poll, we can clearly see the DMP taking the lead, with the DSP and PAX taking the second and third place, respectively. The CD is gaining some terrain, but comes nowhere near these three. Other parties, such as the Draztonian Front, the Green Party, the Party for a Vanyarin Future in Draztonia or the Libertarians of Draztopolis are taking serious beatings, with little to no votes in comparison with the most popular four.

And the results are in folks! When asked the question "Who do you want to be in charge of Draztonia ", the Draztonian people chose these parties:
DMP 39%
DSP 29%
PAX 11%
PVFD 7%
CD 6%
GP 5%
DF 2%
LD 1%
To achieve an absolute majority, the Draztonian Maglite Party(DMP) has declared a Coalition with the Party for a Vanyarin Future in Draztonia(PVFD) and the Green Party. After some strife within the Draztonian Socialist Party(DSP), a splinter faction, calling themselves the Progressive Draztonian Socialists(PDS) have joined the Coalition.
The final make-up of the Draztonian Parliament is:

Opposition(44%, 88 seats):
