"The North Carolina Nuclear Testing facility has been expanded and completely coned off today, as the 35ft high electric wall was moved an extra 15 miles out.
The movement of the fence would fit in with the curent suggestion that Pablicosta Nuclear Weapons Authority is constructing 3 Mega Bombs.
Of course, in recent days, NWA officials have denied the program exists, but may shed new light on the plans now.
The theory of the Mega Bombs includes the fact they could have the capability of destroying an entire nation in one tremendous blast, though the radiation would probably wipe out many more surrounding nations, and maybe even the Atmosphere arround the target nation.
It is understood that even if such a weapon was developed, it would never be used, meerly as a warning to attacking nations.
We got this interview with Opinion pole designer, Phil Johnson."
-Camera shows view over a mans shoulder, looking at a bearded man who looks pretty rough-

"Mr Johnson, do you actually think these plans hold any ground, or are they just imaginations running wild?"
"Well" says the bearded man "There's grounds for either argument, the recent military grant could pay for such a nuclear trio, but if it ever will, and how it would be kept a secret is a question we may never know the answer to"
"Right, but if the NWA do proceed with the project, how long would such a feat take to complete?"
"Once again, not an easy answer, but I would think to design and build, and subsequently test and modify the Mega Bomb, the NWA would have to set aside atleast 15 years, maybe more depending on funding and other projects"
"You say funding, how much, in your eyes, would this project cost the government, and eventually the tax payers?"
"I estimate that such a huge development would set us, as a nation, back about 50 Billion Dollars. But most certainly more than that rough figuire"
"Over 50 Billion, thats a big number. But how much power would that 50 billion dollars of Nuclear Technology pack?"
"Quite frankly, I havn't a clue. We measure Nuclear power in Mega Tons of pwoer, but this would certainly be into Kilo Mega Tons, if not higher. Thats arround a thousand time the power of a modern Nuclear Weapon, atleats the ones we'v seen used."
"Right, and do you think that such a project will go ahead?"
"Yes. I think NWA will certainly proceed with the project, but I dont think, I hope that we never see fit to use such a weapon"
"So just as a warning to scare off threatening nations then?"

"Laides and gentlemen of the press. It has come to our attention that you have begun broadcasting a rumour that the NWA and Pablicostan Government are enbarking on a project to create what you call Mega Bombs. The NWA have announced within the last half hour that the project will be proceeding, under the name-Operation Dark Cloud. I now hand you over to the Director of Operations for the ODC, Sir Rumat Davies."
-A smartly dressed, but short, man steps out through the doorway of the building and comes down the stairs into the horseshoe of reporters-
"Good Evening. I am Rumat Davies, and I shall be in controll of the Operation to produce what you have called Mega Bombs.
In actual fact, the weapons we have begun designing are named the T-69H Bombs.
Currently we are onyl in a design fase, but we hope that within the next 15 years we will have constructed three of the T-69H's.
I can tell you no more at this time, but their will be a further press release, at some time in the future.
