It has been nearly 700 years since the war that decimated the Empire. Very few Neo-Wuwians survived the onslaught, and the ones that did manage to escape fled to remote areas across the world, in order to restart their lives. Many went to the Otarian Jungles, located within the Emerald Heights. They found the land there to be harsh yet peaceful, as each day of their new life was a struggle to stay alive. But after a while they began to prosper, as Neo-Wuwians have always been able to do. Outside communication with international countries has become non existant, their only neighbors being their allies within the Emerald Heights. The people quickly learned to live off the land and tame the beasts that lived within, deciding that small communities of huts and treetop villages was much more suitable to their new enviroment, instead of enormous industrial cities that covered the Ancestral Land. Their is no one 'leader', as the nomads have split into different clans and have no central government to control them. Life between the clans is slightly different from each other, yet a fact true for all the clans is that their are no real laws, just things that are deemed wrong by the mass of the tribe. All in all, life isn't too bad in Otaria-Wu, as the nomads have been calling the jungles. Where the ancient Neo-Wu fell becuase of their imperialism, Otaria-Wu will pick up the pieces and pave the road to real prosperity- the one thing that has been the main goal for Wuwians, Otarian and Ancestral, alike.

(ooc: Comments and comments appreciated. This is basically my IC thread about moving into the Emerald Heights region.)

OOC: Very nice. Shows what imperialism gets you: crappy little treetop huts!

In Galdania, we have industrial district tenement housing!

(ooc: That may be true, imperialism was getting boring anyways, especially nowadays in NS, there are only probably 1 or 2 real good wars a month that don't end before any conflict happens. Oh well, knowing me I might change my mind next week and go to feudalism or something  .)

Actually, the most exiciting war I've ever fought was the war to avoid war with Grunge-France...And everybody won, 'cause we avoided war! So no one died!
