OOC: Post.

First off, I'm not going to start this unless a few people are interested, I'm just wanting feedback at the moment.

What would you think of a medieval tourney RP, just now. My Reavers are nuts about ancient warfare, and the tourney is the absolute favorite pastime of all Panterans.

Glinting swords and bloody maces, armored chargers and the crack and crash of the lance! You enter one or a few contestants in the various events, etc.

I don't know how we would determine the results, unless we chose a few people as 'RP judges', or you just talked it out over TG's, but I believe it would be alot of fun, the chance to shine, show off and work at your 'descriptive' skills. Nothing makes me happier than writing up a good character description of a badass knight, decked out in shining chain and platemail and carrying a broadsword that could lop a man in half, and then throw him into a scene with others like him.

Sounds fun to me, but I'm not sure how much interest there would be, so there it is.

Thoughts? Interested? Naked? Oh...

My nation is well known for our high standard of knights, due mainly to the valour they display in battle. We put this down to our intensive training regime. Our knights are the first born sons of our nobles and are trained from the age of eight, though they are prepared for training from the age of five. Indeed our knights would make any King proud, but alas, we cannot participate in the event as we are currently entangled in a civil war.

Intresting, the last Tournament I did was a quite a while back but it was just an impressive backdrop for a assassination of my king.

Melee duels and the sword are very prominent in Wretchengard culture. I would like to participate, assuming I have time.
