The industrial center of the nation, the city of Myer, had been shut down due to religious demonstrations demanding more say in government and industry. The leader, a Beta Cygnian that refuses to state his name as he speaks only for the people, says to the government, "We know you want to keep all our decent religions down by flooding us with 'equality'! We demand better than equal treatment!"

The 'We' is question are the Catholics, Muslims, Erisites(I think I spelled that right) and Misc. Christian groups.The groups have stopped traffic and industry from functioning for 15 hours so far and have incited the unions to strike for better than equal treatment in the workplace. The government is still formulating a response, but the answer is not expected to be in favor.

well, we'd love to help you with this problem, but we're not exactly surew what you need. Almost all of Eris Kallisti is one of two religions: Erisian, or Discordian (they are extreamly similar). We have little experiance with these other religions you speak of. Is there anything we could do to help though?

Erisism is one of the smaller religious groups in the nation, but seemed to have turned up to be one of the larger groups. If you could get them to go home, that would help us to handle most of the rest.

Your saying these may be some of our people? This is most disturbing. We will do what we can, but if they are mearly your citizens following our beliefs... well I'm sorry to say they are your problem unless you want to deport them (in which case we can take them to Eris Kallisti). Erisians tend to be mild mannered, but slightly "off" because of their following of chaos. I guess I could come in and speak to them if you wish. Eris herself is away on a diplomatic trip, she has left me in charge of her followers untill she returns.

A trip to our nation may not be needed. We have large PA screens in the city, normally used for billboards, but they can be used for this purpose."

The transmission cuts out and reopens several minutes later. If she is watching a video monitor, it should show four large groups of crowds as they all stop shouting to look at the PA sreens showing Ambassador Krall'c and the feed from one of the PA screens.

The ambassador's voce boms out over the city. "Citizens of the Empire. You are urged to go about your business and let the city resume it's normal actions. You are not helping yourself by hurting the Empire." He pauses and sees they aren't moving. "Very well then... we will ask your religious leaders to talk some sense into you..." The screens cut off and he sighs.

"You are on first, High Priestess."

Senator AeliusYou obviously don't realise that the Empire is one of the leading council members of the Coalition of Universal Rights. We handle political protests politically. The military has no right to force rule on the populace.

And plus the fact that it's wrong for a Military to force rule on anyone, they won't be stopped by violence, only slowed down for a time.

Citizens of Crimmond and worshipers of Eris in the city of Myer, most of you should know who I am. Eris herself gave me the title of high priestess of her temples. I am Callisto of Eris Kallisti, the nation run by the Goddess you worship.

As followers of Eris you should know that this is not the way to deal with things. One must cause chaos in subtle ways in order to preserve the life you want. This is not subtle. You want more rights then others? Surely this can be acomplished in other ways. *she winks* This kind of behavior has never been the answer for Erisians or Discordians. Keep that in mind. We do things differantly.

*She signals to shut off the connection and the screen goes to the Kallistian flag for a moment before going black*

The ripples of dissent spread through the crowds, they wanted the better than equal status, but... going against the High Preistess was not easy.

The crowd thins out as a lot of the followers quietly exit, some ignoring the verbal barrage and some showing that chaos can be in the form of a fist.

Krall'c smiles. "Thank you High Preistess. I believe I can get the rest to stand down now that one of the larger groups is gone."

Anytime. If you like we could set up some offical temples free of charge in a few of your bigger cities. The teachings of Eris and chaos generaly do well with better direction. I could send a few Priests and Priestesses to help insure this doesn't happen again. At least not from our people. Erisans and Discordians tend to lean towards practical jokes more then anything... for the most part we're harmless, but you'll always have a few fanatics no matter what religion you follow.

Following the announcement by the religious leaders of ther protesters, most have followed the guidence of thier leaders and returned to home or work. The remaining few are being dealt with by police and being held on charges of minor crimes against the Empire. They are expected to be fined, possibly jailed for a short time and released to go about their lives.

The unions are continuing to strike, but the government is persuading them to find more productive ways to get what they need.

In sports news, Matt Kenseth still holds the points standing, followed closely by Dale Earnhardt Jr....

Eris Kallisti will fund them and the temples should be finnished within the year. Attached to each temple is a training facility to train new Priests and Priestesses who wish to join the KSC. In each main temple is also a small living area for the Priestesses and Priests to live*
