Central Boroglia requests assistance

28-10-2003, 02:49
Central Boroglia, having just received independence just days before, has come under heavy attack by the marauding colonialist powers of Hrstrovokia and Chimaea.

After having a free, democratic vote, the government of Habib Muqtader was elected as President of the People's Republic of Central Boroglia. Hrstrovokia and Chimaea, seeing that they could grab the remainder of free Boroglia, us, decided to attack us under the false claims that we are a puppet government of Al Anbar.

While Al Anbar has had a big part in restoring Central Boroglia to the modern age, they have had no control over our politics. They have only helped supply us with medicine, supplied school books, trained teachers, and got an efficent health care working.

Central Boroglia asks for immediate assistance so that we may continue to be free and independent.

Signed,

President of the People's Republic
President Habib Muqtader

President Derek Igomo of the Allied States of Lusaka addresses those nations which may find their heart-strings tugged by this appeal.

"Central Boroglia's government is a sham; an Al Anbari puppet forcing Arabic culture upon its hapless European populace. Al Anbar has abused its role as peace-keeper, and is now reaping what results. In this case the crop is a justified Hrstrovokian intervention, backed to varying degrees by Valinon, Chimaea, and Lusaka, amongst others.

"I thank you for not acting hastily or on poor intelligence."

Central Boroglia is in need of all types of heavy equipment -- machine guns, anti-tank weaponry, and the such. Our armed forces are trying to hold their ground, but the enemy has overwhelming numbers of men and equipment. We estimate that the Hrstrovokians have over eighteen hundred T-55 tanks ready to enter our borders at moments notice. We also believe that our enemies number around 100-150,000 soldiers.

"Your government is a sham for wishing to enslave the people of Central Boroglia. The people have gone to the voting polls to vote for three different candidates, and the majority picked this government. We are supported by over 70% of the Boroglian people. Al Anbar has abused nothing. They have built our country from nothing. They have supplied us with food, medical supplies, and has created a good health care and educational system. The people of Boroglia will fight to the end to defend themselves from being another colony of these so called 'liberators'."

The candidates were all clearly of Arabic origin, and ran primarily on how quickly Al Anbar should leave- inexplicably the only candidate who wanted Al Anbar to stay long-term won by a landslide- after polling closed extremely early. Within hours of the poll closing it was clear that the vote would have swung vastly against that candidate. We are far from convinced that even a noticible minority of the population even cared to vote in the sham election.

All this aside, it will be impossible for aid to be given to Central Boroglia, as both Valinon/Hrstrovokian held Northern, and Lusakan held Southern Boroglia would prevent such transport.

None of them were Arab, as there are no indigneous Arabs in Central Boroglia. If you are basing this on their names, then you should be accused of racism! It is quite funny how our "liberators" are racists!

We are also unsure of what polls you talk about because at the end of the election, Habib Muqtader remained ahead. We are even willing to allow independent monitors to enter the country to ensure that these votes are correct.

OOC: Anything after the polls closed is OOC, as all the votes had been counted, etc. etc. so...

Yes, President Derek Igomo of the Allied States of Lusaka is racist.

[laughter rips through those assembled]

It is, do you not think, a little late now to speak of co-operation with other nations?
