The view is of a city square, actually , the Crystal City, the capitol of Thelas. There are protestors in the streets. Mostly human, some are Elven. They are carrying signs with meanings like “Down with the bitch, Sirithil” “Out of Noldor Dominance”. The last one had a picture of a Menelmacari soldiers massacring elves and humans, the photo is doctored, although it is well done.

There are soldiers standing, and in some cases sitting, around, all very uncomfortable with this situation. Then, an elf is hustled to the front, he is a Menelmacari citizen on vacation. The soldiers all tense up and ready their weapons, the ones that have been sitting down stand up.

Then the crowd goes wild, people grab clubs and stones, and in one case a tazer, and start to attack the elf. That does it for the guards, they shout, trying to get the mob to stop. After that fails, a soldier fires his energy rifle in the air. For a second all is quiet, then, the mob turns on the soldiers.

The battle ends quickly.

The elf was taken to Thelas Military Hospital 1, the capitol military facility. Where he was put on life support, and treated.

Pamphlets are starting to be handed out, telling how Menelmacari soldiers rape and murder citizens in Menelmacari protectorates. They tell how Lady Sirithil has many affairs (all of them untrue) with men, and how she engages in sexual conduct with women (a little less untrue). They tell how she is sadistic and personally tortures people for pleasure.

The Thelasian government tries to figure out who is spreading these lies, and creating riots. It is some one in the government, but who?

Well, you see, the reason we are a protectorate is that after the Dominion fell, Lady Sirithil was somewhat pissed at us for our actions, you see, our leader, General Theallas was a Menelmacari assasin before well, long story. But to put it in basics, Sirithil told the General that if we did not become a protectorate, that Menelmacar would invade. By the way, these protestors are not representative of the Thelasian Government.

And the minor fact is also that the General has no wish to estrage relations even further with Menelmacar. We have been trying to join the South Atlantic Treaty Orginazation, and to declare ourself independant from Menelmacar and almost cause a war would no doubt hurt our chances for entry into SATO.

And also, most of our population does not mind being a Menelamcari protectorate. Infact, it has lessened the amount of morons who have ried to go to war with us.

OOC: Geez, if you even want attention, just stick either Menelmacar or Elves in the tittle. Saying the first will get you a lot of attenton from every one exept Menelmacar, saying the second will get you attention from Menelmacar allright, it will just get you invaded

We don't fear invasion from anyone, even if our Government fell, we would still be around, in any case, noone should be fored into Protectorateship just because of their leader's past occupation.

Does the fact that it actually helps Thelas. Before this, we could not send any one or anything into or out of Menelmacar, now we can send people and materiel freely.

Menelmacar is pleased the Thelasian authorities handled this matter as carefully and quickly as they did. It is also fortunate that the view of the protestors does not represent the opinions of the government or the populace.

We hope our citizen has been recovering well and will be repatriated shortly.

The citizen will be repatriated as soon as some minor surgery is completed, after that, he will be on the first flight to Menelmacar.
