OOC: I'm space tech level, if anyone wants to know

IC:3 lone DropTransports descended onto a lush green world.Small DropPods flew onto the planets surface,launched from the Drop Transports, sampling the air chemicals and ground to decide whether the planet was suitable for sustaining life. Their tests concluded it was.

From there they beamed up information to the DropTransports. Within moments, canisters were shooting down from the DT's. Upon striking surface, they cooled for a few moments, and then cracked open. Inside were APC's loaded with humans. From there, the APC's started up and drove to their new home...

The Rebel Leader Alexander Burseg was the last to land, in his DT with his crew.

When they had landed, Alexander stepped out from the DT and announced to no-one in particular, "Welcome home...Welcome home"

Now for the background info:

Xanter was once part of a powerful empire.Powerful,but evil.Rebellions were common,but none ever succeeded.

Then, the revolutionary leader Alexander Burseg started a movement against the empire. Many thought it would fail.But Alexaner had a different plan. He would fight the empire, oh yes, but from far away. So, his revolutionaries and followers helped him as much as possible.

In the end, 3 fully laden DropTransports were hijacked and JumpGated to a distant system, to continue the fight from there...

OOC: So now you know a bit about my nation.

The Maxim dispatched a shuttle containing a diplomatic crew to the surface of the planet to communicate with the strangers...

OOC: I know that, except they were pretty big.I didn't want to make loading the page slower. :)

OOC: okay...

IC: The shuttle plummeted through the atmosphere towards the surface...

"Sir, we have an unidentified craft heading straight torwards us!"
The radarboys shout alerted Alexander.

"What?Where? Damn, and just when we turned off all turrets!Turn the turrets back on again,if that craft shows any signs of hostility, blast it!"

"Sir yes Sir!"

Outside, a group of fighters along with Alexander assembled to greet the strage craft, either hostiley or peacefully...

The shuttle slows down as it nears the surface, its trajectory engines slowing the craft down... The landing struts extends from the shuttle and it lands in a clearing, near the Xanter vessels.

Minutes after landing, the cargo bays open and a team of diplomats emerge, escorted by twenty 5CN marines.

OOC: The shuttle's name is the Maxim Junior, named after its mothership. It is a Komusai II Class Shuttle...

Rifles could be heard cocking as the Marines appeared.

"Who are you, and what do you wish with us?"

Alexander yelled over to the group.

"We're warning you, if you are hostile, then you SHALL be dispatched of!"

The leading diplomat in a bloodred gown extends his hands in a gesture of peace.

"We are diplomatic officials from the Scientific Cruiser, the Maxim... We are here to learn who you are..."

Turning around, the lead diplomat gestures for the marines to withdraw back into the shuttle. Reluctantly the marines comply...

"A wise choice,to retreat your marines.If you wish any information from us, you will accompany us to our main meeting...spacecraft.Do not fret, we shall not commit treachery.It is much more likely that your Marines will open fire on us...Those of you who will comply, then come now. Those who don't, go back to your spacecraft and do not leave.Myself, I do not think you are hostile, but you never know who enemy agents are...Come,quickly!"

Alexander gestured to the diplomats...

One of the diplomats snorts in disgust...

"Your arrogance is ill-founded... If you even kill any of our people, you'll bring doom upon yourselves..."

Before the diplomat finishes, the lead diplomats socks him in the solar plexus and gestures for two of his assistants to carry him into the shuttle.

"I'm sorry for the rude behavior of my comrade here, but i agree with his view that you have no right to be so arrogant. My name is Thomas Parry, Foreign Ambassador, Fifth Class... I will follow you to your vessel."

Gesturing to four of his assistants, Ambassador Parry proceeds nonchalantly towards the main Xanter vessel.

"Arrogancy...We have VERY good reason to be arrogant..."

Alexander mutters to himself.


Soon,they were in Alexanders large living quarters.

"So,"

Alexander said emotionlessly.

"What do you want with us?"

"The first question that I have as a diplomat for the 5CN, is who are you and where do you come from? Pluto is an important military base for the 5CN, so we need to know this information..."

Alexander took a deep breath and started.

"Many years ago, we were part of a much larger and much more powerful empire. But it was cruel,and evil. I remember there being many,many rebellions..." His eyes caught a far-away look. "None succeeded. But then I started my own revolution.Many thought it would fail.But there were some followers..." He gestured to the man around him. "After operating undercover,silently,we finally managed to hijack 3 Imperial DropTransports. The fight was fierce; many of my men were lost. But finally, we gained control and JunpGated blindly,and ended up here.And its from here that we'll continue our fight.Happy? And now I must ask YOU some questions. What is this planet you call,"Pluto"? Are you in league with an Empire known as the Taraathen Empire?Answer them."

"The planet is called Pluto, the outermost planet of the Sol System... We are currently on Pluto's moon, Charon... We are not in league with the whatever empire you just said. We are part of the Five Civilized Nations, a democratic nation... We have military and scientific bases all over the universe... And you've managed to stumble to a place near one..."

"Very well. I hope no military actions must be taken against your nation.Perhaps I could suggest a pact of some sort?But save that for later.Now, I must ask you to leave us.No arguing."

Before the diplomats could respond, they were ushered away and back to their ship...

The shuttle blasted off the surface, back towards the Maxim. A pair of Ra Cailum Class Assault Frigates launched from the Pluto base, took positions in orbit around the planet...

Alexander was just going to bed when he was alerted of the frigates taking up positions.

"WHAT?!TREACHERY!BASTARDS!IF THEY TRY ANYTHING AGAINST US,THEY'LL PAY!!!LOCK PRIMARY CANNONS ONTO THEM!GET ME A LINE!"

When a line was opened,Alexander exploded.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?YOU SAY YOU WERE DIPLOMATS, BUT YOU STATION SPACECRAFT ABOVE US!WHAT TREACHERY IS THIS?!?!?!?"

One of the frigates, the Adun responded to Alexander's transmission.

We have orders from the 5CN homeworld to watch your movements and make sure you are no threat to us... That is why we have deployed these warships... If you don't like it... Take it up with the King... But I doubt that you will have the privelege to even see him...

Our vessels will not attack your fledgling colony unless threatened... Over and out...

Alexander calmed down enough for a steady voice.

"Unless threatened...Does this mean you will allow traffic on and off our colony?"

Of course...

The first city(Something the size of Washington DC) had been constructed, but many still slept in the DT's.

MekSuits that were taken with the DT's patrolled at night. It was a slow process, but Xanter was coming together...
