I have at my disposile 15 tankers and my Halve-brother Guido has 5 barges. What we ask in trade for our services is 10 apiece of your new prototypes.Since it was Guido that founded this region,I ask that nothing be said to him about this possible trade merger.Awaiting reply.

I have noted that you have posted your approval for funding into your regions production of these machines. What I had in mind for transport trade, was not to have you build me any machines, but 20 of the 70,000 you now have at your disposal.Awaiting reply.

In internal negotiations, The Vortex Corporation and Spauldmerica have come to an agreement concerning the purchase of a large batch of supercarriers. Eventually, the following was agreed upon:

Spauldmerica will purchase 25 Saarkin-Cho carriers over the next 13 years. Each year, two carriers will be purchased at a price of 65 billion dollars, with one carrier paid that same year, and the other on credit. The purchases on credit are to be payed within 50 years. Because of the magnitude of this order, the Corporation has decided not to put an interest rate on those credit purchases.

Each carrier, after slight modifications, is able to carry 216 of the 'Mechs that Spauldmerica employs. This number represents the maximum possible payload. Each carrier also carries a number of dropships, which are able to take 'mechs down to a planet surface in batches of 24 at the same time.

The Saarkin Cho-class Carrier has been in continuous service for nearly 50 years at this point, and because transport vessels are always needed in these times, it seems unlikely that it will be replaced in service anytime soon. The Saarkin Cho was designed to be a fast-deployment Carrier with enough construction capacity to replace any expected combat losses at a fairly high rate, provided the right resources are on board. The forward launching bay is doublewide and allows for the simultaneous launch and recovery of vessels while the Carrier itself is maneuvering at full combat speed.
