Elections

26-10-2003, 07:50
After 72 hours, the people that entered the ballots for senate and tribune are counted. In total, there are 41 registered senators, and 78 registered tribunes. I guess majority of the people running, think they can do more by coming up with ideas, more then the actual debating and voting on issues passed up by the tribune.

Now the citizens have one (1) week to vote on who they want for tribunes and senators. Five (5) of those 41 senators will actually win election, and ten (10) of the 78 tribunes will make office.

Basically, the top five (5) senator candidates win election, and the top ten (10) tribunes win election. Prior to being in office, the senators will then move into the senate building, and the tribunes will move into the tribune building.

The Emperor's palace is said to be finished, and the emperor has been moving in as we speak. Most of the active candidates have stated when they arrive in office, the first few issues that will be sent up to the senate will have to do with the UN.

But as we all know, the emperor seems to have control of all foreign policy, so the UN aren't really an issue to the tribunes or senate. But the word is, is that the emperor already signed up with the UN. The actual position on this is unclear, but it's thought to be an attempt by Emperor Marzullo to get more involved with the international community, such as voting on issues and such.

In about a week, votes will be counted and the top candidates will take office. In a few days after taking office that should be starting activity.
