It's been a week after Emperor Joseph Anthony Marzullo took power...
The Emperor and close advisors after talks over the week have came up with a great plan for Alantino. There will be elections for the rank of Tribune and senate.
Notices are passed out throughout the nation stating that there will be election for ten (10) Tribunes to run for office. Stating if citizens have ideas for Alantino, and if they want to be part of politics, they can join the ballots for Tribune. There isn't any restrictions, but that they can campaign around the nation, talking to people about their ideas and such.
Launching this really made the people of Alantino happy, for the first time they can be part of something big.
Also, there will be elections held for the senate. There will be elections for five (5) senators. Notices were also passed around for this. Senators are to debate with eachother and finally vote for the issues that are passed up by the Tribunes.
Interested parties for any of these ballots must register at the registering tables all over the nation. They have 72 hours to enter the ballot, and voters have one (1) week to cast their votes. In a matter of hours, dedicated loyalists of Marzullo will then count the votes for each candidate.
This is being done quickly, because the Emperor wants to bring the government together as quickly as possible.
The emperor will have 100% power on all foreign issues, the senators and tribunes will deal with domestic issues.
This is done because foreign issues need quick responses, while domestic issues can wait a little longer to be handled.
The Senators are expected to deal with domestic issues as in building military bases, new roads or buildings to be build. On that note, a palace for the emperor, the senate building and tribune building have been worked on. They were transformed for these purposes from what they used to be for when the old administration existed.
