Today, the Ministry of Media Control and Censorship has launched a "Campign Against Illegit Children Television Programmes", limiting children television shows. These include:


Barney
Teletubbies
Care Bears
Sesame Street
Pokemon
Yu-Gi-Oh


All books, posters, accessories, etc. relating with any of these television programs will be burned. The Minister of Media Control has stated "that the television programmes banned are all harmful to our Omzian children and youth through a brainwashing way. That is, exposing our youths to these nonsense, wasting their time of studying for exams and quizes."

the Minister also hinted that an "Anti-Teletubbies and Pokemon" rally will be held soon.

We applaud Omz222 for saving the lives of its children.

At percisely 3:30PM today, in Central Osaria, the privately-owned "Omzian Children's Wonders Channel"'s broadcast center is bulldozed. teh owners has been fined $50,000 Omzars (about $15,000 USD), but the bulldoze cost sat him back for another $5000 Omzars.

The Omzian Children's Wonder Channel is known to broadcast shows such as Teletubbies, Barney, Care Bears, Sesame Street, and Yu-Gi-Oh. They have also attempted to sue the Ministry of Media Control and Censorship for banning the shows, but without success. The owners has been convicted of a charge of "broadcasting illegit materials".

The Ministry of Media Control and Censorship has not yet released an offical statement.

Omzian Children's Wonders Channel has received several complaints by various parents to stop broadcasting these shows, but it resisted. A petition by over 530,000 parents failed. After 3 government warnings, plus a session of the People's Parliament, Omzian Children's Wonders Channel has been BANNED.

We are aware of this. The Ministries of Media Control and Censorship, Ministry of Health, and Ministry of Education has expressed disapproval over McDonalds Company. But its operations will still be allowed.

The South Islands Ministry of Public Sanity, the Ministry of the Future, and the Ministry of Pencils applaud this effort by the Omzian Government to rid their nation of these vile things. We have been cunducting a program like this for several years now, and the studies have shown remarkable improvement in reading and writing, among other things.

We would be willing to take any of these vile materials away for destruction. Our Sanitation Ministry has a very advanced waste manegement facility that specificly handles this type of waste.

Today, a total of 10 TOW missile launcher-carrying Humvees and 4 Iron Cheetah Main Battle Tanks flooded in the streets of the abadoned Sesame Streets Studio, near Honjaksgrad city. Then, Sargent Janue Tangra fired a total of 3 wire-guided TOW anti-armour missiles continusly, destroying the main building of the studio. The Iron Cheetah Main battle tanks fired anti-armor machine guns at the windows of the smaller trailers, destroying the trailers completely.

Then, the wreckage is bulldozed. The land will be used for an Military Aviation Museum.

I resent Yu-Gi-Oh being banned, the Subbed version (In Japanise with Subtitles) is quite good, same with Pokemon.

There are rumors of a new organization springing up - the SSB (Sesame Street Bombers). They fly over countries where Sesame Street is banned and drop SS plushies out the doors.

We do not ban other anime, infact, we view anime is a good "take a break television programme". We view Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh as "radical anime". In which, these programmes absolutely absorbs our youth's minds, therefore more youth will get bad marks on exams, and therefore less educated people will serve our economy.

However, we may reconsider banning Yu-Gi-Oh. We have removed Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh from the "PermBan" list, putting them on "probable" list.

Not much items related to Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh has been burnt.

However, we will consider this Naruto show, although this show doesn't exist in our country.

Naruto's about a kid who's really the reincarnation of a nine-tailed demon fox that killed a lotta shinobi (ninjas) 12 years ago. Very action packed and some blood involved. Not for kids under 12.
