Military Budget ADVICE: What's Reasonable?

I need some advice on what is a reasonable military budget rate!!! I use

to calculate my GDP, military budget, etc. I use a Military Budget that is 4% of my Gov't Budget. Is this too low for my country? Please give advice!

We (I) use 10% of our budget on defense, which is (I think) roughly in line with what the UK spends. I'm not entirely sure, however.

The USA used 8% of their GDP for military in the 60es-80es i believe, and 15% for the Soviet Union.
