Studenberg, Barvaria-Studenland- The Peoples' Central Bank of Barvaria-Studenland has announced that it will adopt the Euro as the official currency of Barvaria-Studenland. Barvaria-Studenland will not print its own Euro notes. Instead, it will purchase notes from the Bank of Switzerland with 50 billion euros in gold stored in an undisclosed location.

...The Central Bank of Knootoss today released a statement expressing great joy that yet another country has joined the Eurozone. Central bank president Duisenberg said that he had full confidence that "the entry of Barvaria-Studenland into the Eurozone would strengthen European economies and promote international trade between European nations." The bank president qualified the Bavarian economy as "fair, but with potential to grow"
The government of the Democratic Republic of Knootoss, a leading nation within the united Dutch regions said it wanted to establish more formal relations with Barvaria-Studenland; establishing a formal free-trade union and an exchange of ambassadors. The move did not do unopposed though, as conservative RCPK critics have dismissed the socialist Barvaria-Studenland as a "defunct Cold War dictatorship" living in the past....
