Pilonese Government announces a new Expansionist Policy
Following the incidents on Mars in the recent months the Wise Counsel has made a momentous decision. As our main country's resources have been stretched to a maximum the need for additional resources to come in from Colonies has been recognized. Within the following years Pilon intends to set up colonies in the following areas:
The Asteroid Belt
Europa
Ganymede
Tethys
Luna
It is hoped that the additional resources from these colonies will give Pilon the boost they need to carry on their scientific experiments and Genetics Programs.
Though we applaud any effort on Pilon's behalf to increase the wealth of their denizens and government, we wonder if they are aware that a number of those places has already been colonized.
They have been made aware of that fact. Here is the list of nations as I can recall, feel free to add more.
The Asteroid Belt
Unneeded - The belt is too big for anyone to successful claim. I would imagine there are nations that claim the Jupiter and Martian trojans however, as those are the greatest concentrations of asteroids.
Europa

The Snel
Ganymede
Tethys
Luna
Likely dozens to hundreds claim some portion of Luna. Since no map is avaliable I don't believe it would possible to have an uncontested claim.

PNN update - With the preparations put into full motion we are now ready to start setting up our colonies, expect within the next couple months to see our new colonies establishing themselves.
The first colony, built out of the scrapped Ship that once housed a majority of the Pilonese fleet but was retired due to exteme cost and an unwillingness to risk the ship in battle, will be a space station set up in the Asteroid Belt. Within a couple weeks of that colonies establishment our Lunar Colony will be set up. Within a month of that colony's establishment our Ganymede colony will be established and a month after that our Tethys colony will be established. We want no wars or disputes with any other nations and our land claims on these planets and areas are intended to be quite small, as we build Arcologies that rise high into the sky. If there are no objections we will proceed unhindered with our plans...

The Eurydian Republic applauds Pilons actions and wonders if it will be setting up a colony in 47 UM... if it hasnt already.
Update: We have now established a colony on The Moon and In the Asteroid Belt.

I believe I hold colonies on Pluto and have colonies around Mars, and a space fortress commanding one of the few passageways through the asteroid belt... In addition, nation of Xanter is on the moon of Pluto, Charon...
We will keep that in mind if we ever decide to expand further out to pluto.
