Britains Empire

*This here section is specifically dedicated to the workings of Imperial Britain and her citizens and we kindly ask that no outsiders interfere with our democratic process*

Here is a more or less complete list of what I believe should be on our regional Charter. Now I know that I am most likely missing a few things, and if that's so, then make sure to inform me what you think should be added or removed. Here are the ideas in no particular order:

- no discrimination by reasons of race, national origin, colour, religion or gender
- that every citizen is equal
- freedom of conscience and religion
- freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression
- freedom of the media
- freedom of association (clause: restriction of association with enemies of the region)
- freedom of the citizen to have the right to vote
- restriction of government power abuse
- the ability of the government to impose martial law during a regional emergency that would supercede the Charter (clause: only during times of being invaded or during times of dangerous/high threat)
- every citizen has the right to enter, remain in, and leave our region
- that a citizen is defined as a person currently living in our region
- that citizens has the right to life, liberty and security of the person and the right not to be deprived thereof except in accordance with the principles of fundamental justice
- that 'criminal' nations have the right to be informed promptly of the reasons behind their charge or ejection
- that a 'criminal' nation is considered guilty until proven innocent
- that 'criminal' nations shall tried by the government
- that nations in government positions can be suspended or relieved of their duties
- that government positions are subject to change and modification
- that the official language of the region is English
- that services to accomodate those disadvantaged by this Charter are not required by this Charter (in most cases, I'm relating to the language point)
- nothing in this Charter limits the authority or judgement of the government in reasonable consideration
- the rights and freedoms guaranteed by this Charter CANNOT be violated
- the guarantee in this Charter of certain rights and freedoms shall not be construed as denying the existence of any other rights or freedoms that exist in the real world
- notwithstanding anything in this Charter, the rights and freedoms referred to in it are guaranteed equally to male and female persons
- this Charter applies solely to the citizens of our region
- that the Charter can be amended (clause: it would have to require the consent of the other government members or something)
- that nothing shall interfere with the greater good of the region
-that no citizen is required to be forcibly made to do something against their will unless it is for the greater good of the region
- (Something that states how our government set up will be, namely what ministers we'll have, etc, not that we don't already have that but this Charter would officially recognize those occupations)
- that any movement or decision of the government must receive the approval of the founder
- that the government must be in general concensus (above 50%) for a resolution to be officially deemed as being approved/supported by the government
- that this document shall be known and cited as the "Imperial Charter"

If the charter applies only to citizens of your country, then how can you prosecute "Criminal Nations", which are obviously not citizens?

When I was referring to 'citizens', I meant citizens of Imperial Britain.
