A Sarrkin Cho class carrier arrived in the Tydus system, launching a dropship to Tydus III.

There they would meet a Taiidan Imperium delegate, to discuss more colonisation and to decide whether or not to allow mining the rings that surround Tydus Prime.

"Tydus III this is the shuttle Sayo requesting landing clearence, over."

5 Taiidan Interceptors launched from the planet.

"This is escort group Bravo, reporting to escort you in."

"Rodger escort group. bring us in."

The ships joined in formation them headed for the landing pads.

Citizen Fr'lakh, leader of the colony was waiting for the delegation on the landing pad.

"The Emperor sends warm greetings, he'd be here himself, but he was needed on Earth."

"If you follow me, we shall go to the meeting hall."

"That's ok, same sort of story for our Emperor too." said delegation leader Thomas Stone, following him down the hallway.

"So may I ask, why do you want to harvest our rings?"

The Tydus prime representative arrived.

"This is the speaker of the people, Gerard Daniels, requesting to land. I represent the Colony as well as the government."

"You are cleared to land of course, but we thought that your government was to represent you."

"They would sell off our rings without a second thought."

"I am here to see to it that doesn't happen."

"Let them land. they will see that there is no problem with you mining the rings."

The delegates were all lead into a massive hallway, built into the rock of a mountian.

"Sit down. Have some G'tharak Tea."

Citizen Fr'lakh sat down and poured himself some of the blue liquid. then sat there sipping, waiting for the debate to begin.

Thomas stone sat his delegation down and took a cup of this "Blue" tea.

"This is good tea, but let's begin. Why do you wish to mine our rings. what financial purpose is there?"

"Simple" said the citizen, sipping the tea. "There are large deposits of Iron in the rocks within that ring, which we can use to mix with the materials we have on this planet and make steel, which we can then use to build more spacecraft."

He lazed back in his chair, waiting for a reply.

"You want to steal our Iron source! TIN delegates, we use that iron to build hospitals, homes and food storage! take that away, and you take away key building materials!"

"Hmm..."

He took a big gulp of the tea.

"It seems to me we can make a compramise. how about joint mining operations? We make a split of 70/30, the Taiidan will get less, but still have some, while the colony still has a supply of Iron ore."

"No way." said Citizen Daniels, lighting up a ciggarette.

"We must have it all. refuse and we'll be forced to declare ourselves Independant from The Imperial Navy."

"You try to do that, and we'll strip you of your title, citizen. Kinda negates your plan there. Now, there must be an ammount you'd be happy to part with."
