The HighGuard Warship Morning Sun is out on patrol over looking the boundaries of the HighGuard Commonwealth in the Greater Magellanic Cloud.

0215 hrs
The Holographic image of the ships AI appears before Captain Lewis while he is sleeping.
"Captain?"
Captain Lewis moans.
"Captain Lewis? Sir, this is important I'm receiving a Steller Level Emergency."
At hearing that, Captain lewis jumped out of bed and started getting dressed.
"What does the message say?"
"Sir, the message states that there is a planetwide emergency and the population needs to be evacuated. We are the only ship in the area."
The Captain started out his door heading for the Command Deck.
"Very well, have the pilot take us to slipstream right away I'll be on the deck shortly."
The Ship jumped into SlipStream. Just as it came out of slipstream Captain Lewis arrived on the Deck.

"Captain on deck!"
The Sergeant yelled out as soon as Lewis walked onto into Command.
"Everybody at ease. Sun, what is the condition of the planet?"
The Morning Sun appeared before him in its holographic form.
"Captain, this is weird, I'm not picking up anything unusual. However, I am picking up quite abit of ships in the area.

"Identify those ships."
Captain Lewis said as he looked at them.
"From what I can tell, they are Bigotopians"
"Bigotopians!? I wasn't even aware that they had any ships...."
"Captain, there is more, they are preparing to fire!"
The Morning Sun rocked with fire as the ships started pounding the lone HighGuard ship. After a few minutes of intense fighting the Morning Sun was heavily Damaged.
"Shipwide!"
Captain Lewis yelled out. The sound of the Shipwide alarm rang out across all decks.
"This is the Captain, We can not hold out much longer. I'm ordering you all into escape pods and get back to the HighGuard and warn them of this treachery. I'll stay on board and cover you all as much as possible. Now Go!!"
The crew was running frantically in the ship heading to the pods. Once the pods left the ship the Bigotopians started firing at them but most made it to slipstream and got away. The Morning Sun covered their retreat as much as possible but in the end, the ship and her captain was destroyed.

The survivors made it back to an HighGuard Argosy outpost and reported it. All across the Commonwealth, the Argosy Fleet as well as the Lancer Corps mobilized and prepared for war.

At the Falasmayon Intelligence Administration:
"Sir, we have reports of high Guard fleet movement, large amonts of it. Two major fleets have left the system, and en route to the site of what appears to have been the destruction of one of the High Fleets war vessels. The purpose of the vessel and the reason for it's destruction are unknown."
Deputy Administrator: "Hmm we should not discount any movement of fullfleets by a major power. Send a task force from the nearest posession to investigate. make sure they are well armed."
An hour later, The Battlecarrier Argonaught escorted by 2 assault ships and 3 cruisers leaves the Hlormaren space dock and jumps to Susy-Space en route to the site of the attack.
The battleship Acharn had been moving through slipstream, at least until they detected the massive explosion of the Morning Star. The captain ordered the helmsman to drop out of slipstream, “This is the Thelasian Combat Vessel Acharn to all ships in the area, we have detected a massive explosion, possibly a detonation of a slipstream core, do you require assistance?”
OOC: The Acharn is an Acharn class ship, she is the largest and most powerful ship in the Thelasian fleet, actually, I based her off of the Rath of Achilles. With 400 offensive forward missile tubes, 200 rear defensive and countless AP guns, defense drones, and fighters, the Acharn is a battle fleet in it’s own right.

The 15th Five Civilized Nations Task Force was based around the the Albion Class Assault Carrier, the Avalon.

Well, then, order all vessels to enter hyperspace and proceed to the Atreus's location...

A few minutes later, the warships begin disappear one by one as each enter hyperspace...
Trasnia will be enjoying the fruits of salvage sure to be abundant in the coming conflict. Ah, a pirate's life...
The nation of Xanthal is willing to fight for either side in this war, if the price is right. If not we will simply defend our own territory and use our Armada to capture unguarded technology left in the wake of battles. Trasnians beware, don't give us an excuse to crush you.
The Empire of Vi2o has recieved word of the hydro-fusion explosion and is deciding if to take action, or let it rest. As a precaution, we are preparing to launch the 1st Battle Fleet and the 1st Science Fleet.

IC: The battle group continues through Susy-Space recieving word from intelligence that many nations are sending ships and battlefleets. As a precaution another Battlecarrier, an ArcoDreadnought and 4 destroyers are dispatched to join the group as it pass Falasmayon space on its way to the disturbance.
(OOC: Hey, I need a good place for spaceship pics. especially Warhammer 40k ones. If anybody knows a site i would be much obliged.)

OOC: Sorry it took so long to reply, I didn't know anyone posted and work has been keeping my busy. Please Ignore my last post and I'll start from where you all detected 1 of my fleets enroute.
IC:
The HighGuards Argosy and Lancer Corps units upon hearing what has happened to the Morning Sun mobilized some of its fleet. The Bigotopians have picked one of the perfect times to start a fight. Most of the Argosy fleet is scattered throughout HighGuard space on patrols in the far reaches of the Greater Magellanic Cloud starting colonies, and space drifts.
At Argosy HQ on the planet of Tarazed a meeting is taking place between the Joint Chiefs.
"The Bigotopians have betrayed us! We must strike back with everything that we have!"
Admiral Cruise one of the Elite Argosy Commanders said.
General Wright, commander of the Lancer Corps stood up and replied,
"Bottom line is this gentlemen. The Bigotopian people consist of less then 3% of the HighGuard's total population. Not to mention that they are very active in the military. What is to stop them from betraying their units and secrets to their people? I propose that we relieve them from command and place them under arrest until we know what is going on."
As they were discussing their plans a Lancer Sgt came into the room and handed General Wright a message.
"Gentlemen, this is just confirmed. The Bigotopian fleet has taken the planet Araza. The Bigotopian Commander for months had stocked up his unit gradually rotating out men and supplies and replacing them with his own men of his choosing. One of the Key military structures has fallen without even a shot!"
The HighGuard Space fleet outnumbere 3-1 has halted outside Arazia. and is awaiting reinforcements from its allies. One of the Key Battles in known space, is about to take place.
