Bioweaponry for sale (Not the disease kind. Bioluminaries)

24-10-2003, 06:40
We are selling bioweaponry such as regenerative armor, bioluminary oscillators, BEMPs (Bioelectromagnetic Pulse), Toxin launchers, Acid-resistant armor, Cellulose building materials, and some plants capable of mining metals. Any nation wishing to purchase these or other things (more will be added as the biomastery consortium agrees on what we can and cannnot sell) merely needs to express their desire here. Most of these can be intergrated with standard military units, and are quite effective. We will sell specimens, rent out scientists and engineers capable of showing you how to use them, and help you design your own if you so wish.

You are joking right?

No. These are viable weapons. BEMPs, for example, are one of the best non-lethal weapons out there. Hitting an area with one fries the minds of living things in the effect radius. It makes psychics helpless for days and everyone unconscious for hours, but all still alive. Regenerative armor self-repairs on the battlefield. And plants capable of mining metal draw in traces through their roots. It's a cheap, non-invasive way to get many metals.

OOC: The type of weaponry you are talking of would take years for a nation to develope with lots of smaller build up projects and all of a sudden you just have all these weapons that do super technological things.

IC: Your nation is too young and primitive to have built such mechanics, so these weapons must have originated elsewhere. Why should we go through a middle man when we can locate the source and purchase directly and cut the cost? Or maybe you don't even have these weapons and this is some type of ploy, what and why I do not know. You are a strange nation, indeed.

OOC: Who said they were advanced? Being generous, they are roughly equivalent to standard late-20th-century weaponry. Regenerative armor is barely equivalent to a kevlar vest that can slowly rebuild itself, for example. The only exceptions are BEMPs, which when discovered *ahem* -I mean designed, were a much longer lasting flash grenade than what is available normally.

IC: No, the fact that we don't have enough heavy metals to make an effective fighting force led us to gene-tampering very early on. Due to our peaceful nature, we are far more interested in science than anything else (except regional stability). We don't have any metallic things, aside from some silver. Most of our mining expiditions found nothing, except a few ruins. We can, however, guarantee that we are the only suppliers of these things.

(OOC. If this really makes you unhappy, Assnine, I'll remove it. But I had assumed that nations started at roughly the middle of the 20th century. Please tell me if that is not the case.)

That isn't good. I was planning on adding psychics to my army. We must wonder if you are actually the Yuuzhan Vong.

Never heard of them. And since the blast is still electric in nature, I'm sure you could come up with a way to protect against them. Or you could buy them all yourself, since at the moment we do have a limited supply.

The USSK would like to perchase technology capable of withstanding and or dissbaling nations useing this technology. Our military has not rizen in numbers for many a year, and this may give us a needed technological edge if we go up against such nations.

Please PM me for details.
