This is the FBC.

Terror in Foxxinnia.

Welcome today is October, 23rd, 2003

Amy Tay: A sudden rash of attacks has shaken the Lake Wence area. A large group of anti-foxxinnian terrorists have attacked the three large Lake Wence cities of Kensworth, Carington, and Allegany. Many random gun-fights have erupted across the three cities. All roads have been rigged with explosives and trip wires to prevent anyone from getting in or out of the Lake Wence area. Just in the president is about to speak in a news conference in Foxxinnia City. We cut to Jacob Watson at the conference.

Jacob Watson: Thanks Amy. The president is about to come out and speak and- oh here he is right now.

President of Foxxinnia: Hello, everyone. A tragedy has befalled own nation. Anti-foxxinnian terrorist groups have attacked our nation and we must resist. I have gotten word of nearly 300 citizens being killed or wounded. I have spoken to the Sectertary of the State in Carington and he has said many explosions have occured across the city and has heard many gun shots. He also said that he has seen three pick-ups with machine-guns on the back shooting thru windows, but that was before the electricity was cut to all of the Lake Wence region. I doubt we can take this alone this is why I am asking for help from other counties. I hope we can end this conflict as soon as possible.

"Mister President-Sir Question- President Sir just one-"

Jacob Watson: Well there you have it the President avoiding questions after pleaing for help from other countries. I hope at least some countries will anwser this desprite call.

Although our foreign aide programme is currently rather stretched we shall make an exeption and allocate additional resources due to the nature of your government.

First we request what resources you need, food, medecine, money, troops, etc.

We shall asign a small yet elite counter-terrorism unit known simply as the Jupiter Regiment to help in your current situation.

5 miles of the cost of Foxxinia, 4:51AM
The SPS (Sydian People's Ship) Aircraft Carrier Titan is seen silhoetted against the rising sun. There is no inication of activity on the decks. Suddenly 3 KA-58 KASATKA rise from the deck each carrying 12 heavily armed members of the regiment. The helicopters glide toward the coast where smoke plumes rise above a costal city.

As the helicopters near the town of Kensworth, gunfire and shells can be heard. The helicopters hover over an abandoned warehouse by the docks and the squads enter using fast rope descent. The helicopters hastily make thier way back to Titan and flak starts exploding in the sky above.

The squads easily traverse thier way out of the warehouse which is lightly guarded by a rag-tag band of mercenaries using AK-47s which are swiftly neutralised.

The squads now make thier way into the town itself. Alpha company has the duty of restoring communication so intelligence on enemy positions can be relayed to the squads. Beta company has the job of diffusing explosive traps set across streets and is highly trained in explosives displosal and booby-trap neutralisation both in urban area and the jungle. Charlie company have the hardest task of disrupting enemy communications and supply routes and will likely need to set up an OP so they can observe enemy movements. This cannot be done until the communications building has been captured, so C company for the time being tag along with A.

A sniper for B company picks off a machine gun nest crew before proceeding to a blockade of the street which it promptly C4's.
A and C company head towards the comm building identifyable by the radio towar which pretrudes above the town.

A and C company proceed through the rubble of the town encountering many pockets of resistance. An enemy encampment is found and using storm techniques all the buildings are cleared and the enemy HQ for the area is destroyed using timed C4 charges. As the men are engaged in a firefight with terrorists in the street the HQ building explodes and the terrorist flag pole of the camp sybollically falls. Terrorists involved in the firefight, many wounded, now surrender to the Sydian forces. They are bound and gagged in a building which is marked by a red smoke flare. A Chinook adapted for POW duties lands in a nearby square while the terrorists are hearded into it. They will be taken to a nearby police station to be dealt with by the Foxxinian authorities.
The objective of the comm building is growing ever closer. Confident they will reach it within the hour, the men of A and C company march on. Suddenly the squadron leaders ored a full fall back to safe positions. They have spotted a number of T-34 Soviet tanks being employed in the town. A shell guts a nearby church and shrapnell is flung across the street into some retreating C company men. Fortunately medics are immediately on hand and the men are taken to a safe position and treated. The problem of the tanks however still remains a threat to A and C company.

B company was doing well. They had not encountered much resistance and it was clear the terrorists were relying on booby traps to hold down the western half of the town. The booby traps were simple trip wires attached to grenade pins, and anti-tank mines hidden under vegitation that now emerged through the cracks in the war-torn streets.
"Almost whimsical, but effective" remarked Sgt. Hollings to his men.

Meanwhile A and C companies where pinned down by aggressive tank fire. The men of course had LAW anti-tank weapons but to take them head-on would be suicide. Leuitenant M. Anderson, a respected NCO, carefully climbed the ruins of the church steeple to get a better vantage point over the tanks. Using a laser designator he 'painted' the targets for incoming airstrikes. However one of the tanks had spotted the NCO and machine gun fire ricoched off the steeple's fine stone. The leuitenant imediately withdrawed to a safer location.

Behing the tanks a HARRIER-2 advance jump-jet hovered, unbeknown to the terrorist tank commanders. AP rockets smash through the armour of the tanks immediately causing ammuition to explode and the tanks burst alight. The men now jumped out of thier fall back position to advance past the tanks. Terrorist tank crews crawled out of their blazing tanks on fire and screaming in agony. The squad promptly shot these men as a mercy killing.

C company was ordered to hold position whilst A company advanced toward the large communications building, which close up appeared to be more of a bunker. Scouting ahead with thermal binoculars it was clear the building was heavily guarded with electrical fences, towers, sentries and machine gun nests using captured M-60 machine guns. It became clear that to take this building would be the biggest challenge in Kensworth.

A small group of 5 infiltration experts from the squad are assigned to restore the buildings function whilst snipers equiped with Acuracy International sniper rifles set up in buildings surrounding the comm centre, from which the can cover the infiltration crew from all angles.

The order is given to go. From a back alley close to the comm centre the team set off, and prompty sight a sentry patrolling across the street. Staff Sargeant Scott Tayler sneaks behind the terrorist, who casually strolls along the street, completely unaware of the teams presence. Tayler silently draws out a silver blade from his uniform and levels it at the terrorists neck. He flicks the blade out of his hand where it tears through the terrorists skin, he falls to the floor gargling blood and kicking his legs in the air. His pointless struggle is soon over and his lifeless body thrown in a nearby dumpster.

The towers meant the team can proceed no further so the snipers are ordered to take swift action. As they have been through so many times in training, the snipers level their scopes over an eyeball of all men in the towers. The order is given to fire and in harmony bullets rip through the skulls of the terrorists. The men in the communications building are still completely unaware. However hanging over the edge of a tower a sentry is dripping blood from the gaping wound in his skull. The machine gun nests begins pumping out rounds and rounds into thin air. It is clear that although the terrorists have strength in numbers they are highly unprofessional. Calmly a sniper picks the ammo feeder off. The gunner is terrified and emerges from the cover off the nest firing a Desert Eagle pistol into windows of surrounding buildings in a deserperate and pointless atempt to hit the snipers. He is almost instantly hit in the chest by a sniper rounds and callapses backward. A cloud off dust rises from the ground where he hits. The team begin to move in....
