Sydia to disarm?
A debate rages in Sydia whether to disarm or not. On the plus side we would improve the economy by cutting spending and doing our bit for world peace while we're at it.
On th other side of the coin we could be left helpless at the hand of foreign agressors.
Therefore it is deemed suitable to once again appeal for internation consul from nations which have already taken this important decision.
We eagerly await your reply.
-Sydia
I strongly recomend not to disarm, but to keep a large conventional army.
Don't disarm. Many arouge nations will fight against you and you must be prepeared. I the foreign minister of spitfire89 will help you with whatever military help you need, Together our nations may prospur.

I most heartily disagree.
Disarm your "weapons of mass destruction;" that is to say, nuclear devices, chemical and biological weapons.
Oglethorpia has none of the aforementioned devices and weapons, but still maintains a "Defense Force" 4,500,000 men strong and a large Royal Navy and Royal Air Force.

Sydia recognises the international communities view and therefor has chosen to stay armed for means of defence. We are, however, strictly against the use of nuclear weapons and needlessly aggressive nations.
