Why are you doing it? Is there a reason besides just waking up on the wrong side of the bed? Any historical reasons for it? Cultural? Economic? Even look at WWII... Hitler didn't kill Jews just because he felt like being a jerk, he did it for all manner of reasons (all of which were flawed, but hey, that's another debate). Like CG said, description description description. The more you flesh it out, the better your plotline will be.

Since we exiled all our elves years ago for being irritatingly smug and generally too pretty for normal humans to deal with, we fully support his right to round them up. However, we would suggest that he does it quietly and doesn't attract any of their allied kin groups, ground wars with the pointy ears are messy.
The Armed Repulic of -Iraq- applauds the destruction of the inferior elf people.
