Really they are, well to evil nations anyway.

I've noticed that if a newbie makes a nation and posts thier first thread, like a 'Greetings World' one, people all say "Welcome to NS, hope you have a great time and wish you all the best" or "Hi, have a fruit basket".

BUT...

If you are an new evil nation people hate you and say things like "Oh, i'm scared " and "Well, aren't you a sad little waste of space..."

Also i noticed Evil nation get ignored a lot more quickly than nice nations.

And it is true people, even Evil nations have feelings.

So i feel we have to stop being evil to evil nations! And let them into NS as much as any other new nation!

This infomation was gathered by two puppets i made for scientific purposes, these nations are waiting to die now in a secure place after serving their purpose. And my results are based on the reactions i got from fellow NSers to my puppet evil and nice nation

I was a less vocal member of the GDODAD, it only kept me out of some things. Not many though.

I saw this in the GDODAD, GDODAD nations got accused of GDOMODing for no apparent reason. While other nations got away with alot more than the Dominions

I used to be the weak guy here. Then I realized that my nation was quite powerful and became a good guy nation that stomps on people trying to stomp on newbs.

Have a reason for what you do. And please, do not say you are something. A truelly evil person, wouldn't really think evil as wrong (Raistlin Majere for example, he is such a badass...)

When I see a topic that says "I am evil" or some other such stuff, I generaly will check it out to see how old the person is who started the thread. If they're only a few days old... hell yeah I'm gonna roll my eyes at them! Noobs get these huge egos if you don't let them know what's up. I'd rather put them in their place quickly then have to deal with it later... especialy if they start responding to people with: "I wIlL cRuSh U wItH mY eViL aRmY!".... I have little time or pacience(sp?) to deal with wankers like that *shrug*

Why were all the members of the Dominion considered n00bs? Was it that they were godmodding idiots? Or was it that there was a vendetta against them, and that their enemies went too far in their hatred?

It was the second. When I first started playing NS, I never posted. I watched. I watched as the GDODAD members were laughed at for just being a member of that alliance. I watched as they were treated as Godmodders for no reason, while their enemies got away with even worse crimes against RP.

Their enemies accused them of being n00bs and bad RPers, their enemies attacked them with “ad hominum” attacks (Against the person). I saw them get shunned. I watched as the Dominion never won a war. And I will tell you why, because if they ever did, they would be accused of Godmodding their way to victory. They would be IGNORED.

This is why the Dominion fell. Not because it was locked in the past, but because their enemies took their IC anger OOC. Because the enemies of the Dominion, were more concerned about winning, and forgot that the people in the Dominion might also want to win in something.

I do not mean to offend, all Humans have flaws, I am just saying what I saw. I am learning that the people in SATO and in other places have just as many flaws as the members of the former Dominion had. If I offend I am sorry. I am just writing down what I saw.

I'm sorry, I just like to make fun of those who declare themselves evil with no reason given. It seems quite n00bish, actually, as such concepts as "good" and "evil" are both subjective. Certainly a nation that declares itself "evil" doesn't grasp this reality. I mean, even pure evil nations like Melkor think that they're doing what's right.

I agree that Iesus is pretty much the most evil nation around. Matty boy is a psychotic murderer, who went crazy when he lost his wife and began killing his own people. This places him up with Hitler and Stalin.

I want a war, being nice all the time is boring.

In real life I try my best to be nice, but why bother in here? I mean im doing this for fun, not to make freinds!

Well having once been at war (*)with the Dominion (well sort of Melkor really, but the Dominon was around in that whole mess). I would say that the whole thing of alliances around here is very hard to maintain, and as for people well not wanting to loose and being very poor rpers. The ability to lose in a game such as this is one of the harder skills.

So in the end it sounds if they were just ignored to death...

*I should note that I took acception to some of Melkor's use of his ignore cannon which I retaliated in kind for. So my "war" encounter didn't last long.

But hell, there have been other 'alliances' that have died quickly. and others that are still around. Actually, has anyone seen Pantera recently?

Right, thus how can you make assumtions about hem when contrasting to some one who has watched them regularly for their entire NS life. It is impossibal, assumtions with out basis are close to slander. This is another example of how people tend to think that because the Dominion is the Dominion that they Godmodd.

I think the problem of the whole thing is trying to be 'good' or 'evil'. Most 'evil' nations are just jackasses, racists, bigots, whatever. Most 'good' nations that I see are either shining examples of virtue or the lapdogs of some other Mother Theresa-like nation. It sucks.

My Reavers see themselves as 'Good' and fighting under the 'Light', but this doesn't mean I won't hestate to erect a forest of corpses or purge a nation with the burning light of rape and cleansing fire. :twisted:

But, I'll agree that Iesus is extremely 'evil', and puts off the maniacle laughter vibe very well. Melkor doesn't seem 'Evil' so much as just bad, but once again is very well played.

Menelmacar is a great example of a 'Good' nation that isn't always 'good'. While the rest of the world looks on, nodding its approval, Siri is back behind the scenes, tweaking things with her own twisted, elven mind. Everyone applauds her, but OOCly, I'm not fooled. ;) I know she's up to something back there, and I love watching and trying to pick my way over her scenes to figure out her motives.

The idea of Good VS Evil is played out. Think of something new.
