Mintar imposes sanctions on Diminix for Nazi policies
(OOC: This is a semi-open RP involving Diminix, Celack, and Mintar. While there may be skirmishes, we DO NOT want any sort of open war. Roles of other nations are not clear to me @ the moment; I guess we'll reach a consensus after seeing who wants to join etc.)
Today, in a televised speech (in English and Spanish), president Edwardo Sanchez harshly criticized the Holy Empire of Diminix for its "Harsh, and almost Nazi-like policies."
"It is well known that the this 'Holy Empire' of Diminix has attempted to 'cleanse' their Muslim population from their land. ANY sort of racism in general should not be tolerated, but this... this is beyond anything near what Diminix can get away with."
"It is also well known that their leader is a great admirer of the cruel tyrant Adolf Hitler, (OOC: i.e. Talks about him, :) ) only serving as futher proof of Diminix's inability to function as a decent nation."
"Due to these horrendous acts, Mintar has cut off all relations with Diminix
and is attempting to impose sanctions until Diminix replaces their psychotic ruler with one more humane."

It was one of the late night talk shows on ESCNA, the official Diminix news network. A historian by the name of Jon Stewart was on it getting interviewed by Kathy Gibson a reporter for ESCNA.
"Mr. Stewart, I need to know what you think about the accusations thrown at Diminix by Mintar by calling us Nazi's. How do you think we should respond to this?" - Kathy
"The democractic republic of Mintar has a point. Has anyone not noticed how Emperor Sessa does act like Adolf Hitler in a way? I mean after the victory over Zimbabwee he held a military parade in the same fashion the Nazi's did in the 30's. The Emperor declared himself one spot lower than jesus christ for his people and publicy said he is here to relieve us from the Muslim world. Hitler did the same by ridding Germany of Jews. I don't think we should do a damn thing"

The Emperor was watching the show. He looked pissed off. He turned the t.v off. Then a knock was heard on the door.
"It's open" - Emperor
His personal assistant, Michelle, walked into the room.
"Mr. Sessa, have you heard the news?" - Michelle
"Yeah. That prick. What should we do about his ass?" - Emperor
She smiled and handed him a folder.
"It's from the minister of propaganda, sir" - Michelle
Inside the folder was a letter that said the following:
This is going to have a bad effect on us in the international community. It's like we are going to have to strike first. If they want to make us seem like Nazi's, we're going to have to make them look like they want war.

One Day Later
Outside a private airbase in Diminix, three hangars were opened up. Inside were seventeen B52 Bombers with the Mintarian flag on it.

Sanchez ignored the cries of aides as he went about his business.
"Sir! You can't just get the military ready with our economic slump! There's no way we can afford this, let alone have the public accept this!"
"The public will accept it enough," Sanchez replied. "They've got to. They consider it Mintar's sworn duty to protect the world, and mainly themselves, but that's beside the point."
The disgruntled aid replied "...but the economy!"
"It'll hold. Besides, it's not like we're planning an invasion. We just don't know what they heck those Nazi bastards will try to do."
(OOC: So, what's security like in getting over to your nation? Would it be possible to drop soldiers off onto your coast while having a decent chance of being undetected? Or to flyn in from another country?
((ah, nah that's impossible. lol only way to enter diminix is throught the sea, not unless someone in the coalition of evil, whoever im bordered with betrays me and allows enemies to come through from their land. And I've got my entire navy + the pacific wall on my beaches, sorry. And I'll put an IC reply in a little while.))

The Campus Republic of Academicea formally declared at noon today, that the growing escalation of conflict between Mintar and Diminix is "nothing more than a petty confrontation between two regimes that seem to both be repressive in terms of political freedoms." The Provost, Academician Josef Calinsky urged the two sides to hold formal talks aimed at improving relations and offered the use of the Great Hall of Academicea as neutral ground upon which to hold such counsel.
