Baron Counter Terrorist Organisation Goes Global

BCTO

"Fellow nations,

In the past few years the threat of terrorism has become a day-to-day reality. People are living in fear, words like "Al Qaeda" and "biological warfare" has entered into the public reality.

This was brought home in as clear a way possible when terror (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=56289) entered into the Empire of Baron. Terrorists from an international as well as domestic source have killed Baron citizens and destroyed Baron infrastructure.

As a direct response to this ever-growing threat, the Empire of Baron has created the Baron Counter Terrorist Organisation, a paramilitary taskforce designed to hit terrorists hard and fast. I'm not in the business of pulling punches--they kill one Baron citizen, we will kill or capture twenty; they bomb one government building, we will launch retaliotory air-strikes on twenty suspected headquarters.

Our mission is to bring terror back to the terrorists.

To this end we ask the following of the international community:

1. Do not support terrorism. If you do we will blast you back to the stone ages.

2. The BCTO proposes the creation of a multinational intelligence-sharing network on terrorism and with this intent we invite all states interested to create a 'registry' of terrorist threats, available to all member governments, with information on all those threats.

3. We declare from here-on that sovereignty is not an issue for terrorist-supporters or terrorist states. The Empire of Baron will not respect your sovereignty if we trace any terrorism back to you.

We are planning to take the war back to the terrorist, and if that means we must turn to the international stage then we will."
