the emprie, moving ahead with the times, is announcing the use of the DH-17 blaster as our new infantry weapon of choice

pistol configuration
rate of fire: semi-automatic, usually around 100 rounds a minute
rounds: gas pack has 500 available rounds, but powerpack only has enough energy for 100
Range: approximatly 200 metres, ideal for shipboard confrontations, will penetrate body armour, but not ship hulls
price: 1200 (USD) for standard model,
