Dontgonearthere is now selling its planetary super weapon, the Dessicator.

The Dessicator works by shearing the hydrogen molocules off of the oxygen molocules in water. These two elements then combust due to the energy released by the reaction, the reaction continues until all water on a planet is consumed, including that which is currently inside living beings, or until it is stopped by a solid barrier.
The unit is deployed from orbit around the planet, it then powers up, taking roughly five minutes to build up a charge suffcient to fire, it then triggers an overload through the main firing crystal, which explodes, the energy is channeled downward, and once it comes in contact with the surface of the planet, triggers its chain reaction.
The estimated time for the reaction to consume a planet of roughly Earth size is one hour. The weapon is obviously somewhat less effective against non-oxygen based worlds, but still has some effect, though it may not consume the entire planet.

All desicator units are fitted with self destruct devices, if any is brought within five thosand miles (The maximum Dessicator range is 500 miles) it self destructs, any tampering with the device will also result in destruction. The device will also detonate if brought within 5000 miles of any DGNT Empire world.

COST:
5 Trillion GLAcreds (Ten trillion USD) per unit.

I'd like to know how this is able to work. Splitting water molecules apart does not trigger a chain-reaction effect. The weapon would have to be able to transfer an electric charge powerful enough to carry through the entire water supply of the planet in order to do that.

Go to one of those numerous TA Mod sites and grab a few of the really really really really really really hard AI modifications... I had this one that specificially affects the map "Greenhaven" and makes the AI nearly impossible to beat on any difficulty unless you are able to construct Targeting Facility + Fusion Power plant + Guardians/Punishers within the first 8 minutes. (Reason being, the enemy will rush you with 2358320460347629376296723967297946297346107167034578 units and the only way to win is if you get the targeting facility to have your guardians/punishers automatically destroy the enemy units while your construction units build other more important stuff.)

Any MODERN way of splitting water molocules doesnt. My way does. YOu can get a chain reaction going by splitting enough of anything, in any case, in a set amount of time. In any case, shall I ask you for the exact code that makes your robots work?

The one I was planning on making is an AI driven combat machine over 70 feet high, weilding [1] Ion cannon, [2] LRTM launchers, [2] Gauss Rail cannons, and [2] 155mm cannons. But if you still want money for rights, I can pay that right here.

(2) Yes, I will buy a Dessicator. Can I retrofit the warhead into one of my own missiles or is that not allowed?

1. Yes, I would like to sell you rights, they come at a simple 10 percent of every sale, and make sure Resi doesnt find you using AI to drive a combat machine.

2. It doesnt fit on a missile, its a satilite that self destructs and channels the energy to the planet, its pretty one use, y'know? Its pretty expensive though, because Nanites cant build it, and some of the materials are EXTREMLY rare.

Oh it's a satellite... that would explain why it doesn't resemble a warhead in the pic lol. Ok I'll initiate the payment for (1) Dessicator, and as for the KROGOTH rights, all I have to do is give you 10% of the sales? Personally I was thinking of just giving you a lump sum of money because I was never planning on selling any of them. MY military use only, so that my enemies can't get their hands on it. And I don't think Resi will have a problem because I have made deals with him (ie, the AI I'm employing was stemmed from technology I purchased from Resi).

Hmmm, ok, how about you give me 1,000,000 GLACREDS (2mil USD) per Kroggi produced, or, a lump sum of 2x that amount for every Krog you plan to produce, and any additional ones can be paid later. All modifications are to be submited to GLACORP, not for sale, just as a sort of refrence to see if you have good ideas :P

I plan on only making 10,000 of them since my modifications will make them grossly expensive. As for purchasing rights, how about I give you an additional $1 trillion and call it a deal? As I said, I don't plan on selling these things to anybody. They're too powerful to let enemy hands get ahold of...

No, the one trillion would be what you would get total for construction rights. I won't be making a profit off of this anyway, so take it or leave it.

Exactly. Nobody else in the game (to my knowledge) has a copyright of Korogoth. Check the International Copyright thread, I have copyrighted EVERYTHING in my storefront, except modern chemical/biological weapons and nukes.

Interesting weapon, tho I have no need for a planet-killer in particular, and bombardment from a Kanuckistani capital ship is much more versitile and potentially devistating.
