Well, it's taken a little bit of work... though not much and I have finally got a map which has some detail of my nation... though I have yet to add trees it will do until I edit it.

Be warned though, I've made it smaller so it doesn't waste too much Bandwidth... I hope... so you probably can't see the numbers.

1. Iuthia Prime (Capitol : 13,245,000)

2. Dorma (15,300,000, top one)

3. Captel (12,030,000, third one down on the coast)

4. Jurdis (10,145,000, on own island)

5. Kevlez (5,500,000, most southern city on coast)

6. Rima (6,780,000, most southern city by river)

Comments on what needs to be added and so on are ok in this thread... just no flaming... :oops:

Not bad...maybe a scale bar but otherwise a standard map with nothing else needed.

Question: how did you make that map?

Thanks, the map started out as a map of the region made by Thaedron which we all agreed was pretty good, I simply cut it down a little so it only showed the nations on my border then paint mashed the features I needed on.

I'm relatively happy with it, though all the credit for the nicely formed land mass is on Thaedron.

It's going to make a nice map to link in the event that someone wants to invade...

And these maps were made from scratch in Illustrator, then imported into Photoshop for a little re-touching. I borrowed some visual cues from existing land features.

Thats how he described the making of the regional map (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=67678&highlight=) for our region. I just cut it down and added needed features.

A scale bar would be nice, but I would have a head ache becuase of my nations size (1.326 billion, it would be the size of russia!)
