Ever since Shoshoni, the massive, sentient AI thathad been created by the Kechans, had procured a body, she had been conducting a number of private experiments, not telling anyone but a select few people, she had been working on a way to find something that could neutralize the effects of The Word on an individual, the purpose behind this research was to defend against any incursions by the Dominion of Synchronized, she had eventually run as far as she could with simple Computer tests and theoretical simulations, and had started doing the unthinkable, she had begun infecting people with her version of The Word, she had enlisted the help of everyone who knew of her operations and had a part in them to build a Cryogenics/Research Facility in which to store all people being tested, then, she had infected all but a few of those who had helped her with her version of The Word, leaving only those who's intellect was needed uninfected, while this did bother her emotionally, due to the emotions that had been programmed into the body she occupied, she was still larley confused by her emotions and tended to ignore all but the raw, simplistic ones, like pleasure, it felt really good to be able to wield this kind of power, she got a kind of sick joy out of being able to simply take over someone like that, the research was kept secret, but word had somehow leaked out to one or two nations.

Daemon had her suspicions and had run several simulations in her head and nearly all of them (eventually) lead to those fools in Kecha trying to develop a means in which to render humans immune to The Word. Most likely there would be no way to create perfect immunity... but they would have a good shot at created at best partial immunity and any sort of strenght against Daemon's Glory must be stopped... Stopped without bring danger to Daemon or the Synchronized Nation and her Allies.
Daemon only thought for a few minutes before finding the perfect way to remove Shoshoni from the equation... and the one force that could truly kill Daemon herself, The Red Queen.

IC: Shoshoni had been thinking, she needed a way to see what effect could be made on the Government of a nation if someone where to be corrupted with The Word, she began running through a long list of possiblities.

Two Xanthalian Super Andromeda class vessels had been dispatched to check out intelligence reports that a powerful Kechan AI was malfunctioning. Normally the Xanthalians would have just reported it to the Kechan governmnet, but in this instance they were interested in any strategic power the situation could afford them. The Xanthalian vessels had been dispatched on the pretense of scanning a region of space near Kecha, but as they scanned the area they were also using their AIs to scan the Kechan AI. As yet they had not had great success in getting past the security lockouts, but their low-key probing had managed to stay under the detection range of both the Kechans and their AI. What little information they had gathered was proving to be largely useless, so they were now simply waiting for any further developments.
At the moment Shoshoni had no abilities to go anywhere further with her research, she had been trying to lay plans to make a simulation of how a Government could be affected when someone was infected with the Word, but had gotten nowhere.
