------3 Years Earlier------
The once proud city of Paladin remained the way it had been at the end of the civil war. Her Star Tower lay in ruins as the if the missles had flown that day. Few places were untouched by the size of the blasts. Tanks and humvees littered the streets as if a giant child hadn't cleaned up his mess. A lone upgraded Warthog with treds insteed of tires rolled over the oversized potholes in the road. It's occupants consisted of one man in Black Phoenix Expirimental armor and the driver in Razer Body armor. The warthog stoped at a old building and the man in the Black Phoenix armor steped out and walked towards the door. "Damn this place was totaled," he says as he kicks the door open and steps in. "Just get the package and we can leave this hell," the man's AI says.
------Present Day------
"So your telling me that the canesters were stolen!!!"
"Yes sir. By our guess 3 years ago same with the Black Phoenix armor located in Paladin as well."
"Just frickin great."
"So thats were my armor went," a voice says
"Shit don't do that," the man says
"Sorry it comes with the DNA," the voice says as a figure steps out of the shadows.

OOC:Ok this is a invite only so I don't want any people poping in to this thread uninivted. Also you must under stand what happened during the Phalanix Civil War. Any questions may be asked about joining via telegram to me or if you have any questions just post them in OOC format.
And yes if I didn't invite you there is a chance that if you telegram me I might let you in. And I need bad guys for this

The CCSS Isreal, a Chloro-Borg Tachyon-Class Science vessel, is flying near Paladin, checking the radiation levels it cleared up some time ago.

After completing a few scans, the commander calls up a local EPA center and confirms things with their reports.

Suddenly in Paladin a massive surge began forming in the base of the Star Tower. Suddenly a massive blue beam shot down form orbit and began expanding out atomizing anything it touched. Slowly the city is made into a massive smoking 7 mile circle.
------600 Meters under Paladin-----
"AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRR!!!" the bunker comander screams as his console explodes infornt of him killing him.
"Damn it we need to get out now!" Phoenix shouts to another in a Razer Mk X suit of armor.
"Thats a no brainer!," the person says

THe commander shouts out a curse word as the pilot reacts quickly, putting all thrusters to full and climbing straight up and away as fast as possible... they get caught in the wave... Systems fry and sensors malfunction. The Engines still work, but navigation is sketchy. The pilot does his best to bring the israel into a stable hover over the city.

The commander transmits a message down to the city, "Any survivors?"

Slowly the beam lets up and stops. The satalite slowly stops glowing and stops.

----Back in the bunker----
"You ok sir?" the person asks Phoenix
"Just scrached up. Remember I'm part vampire," he says as he pushes some rubble off of his body and looks at his hand held com unit and hears the message. "This is captain Phoenix Maxwell of the Phalanix New Elites."

The israel relays a message to what remains of Paladin Command, "We have a lock on that sattellite, want us to destroy it?"

"NO! Don't if you do that it will rain a massive plasma rain down on Phalanix!" Cortan shouts into the com
"Um...Ya don't blow it up," Phoenix says as he turns to the other survior.
"Are you ok?" he asks.
"Ya just my armor is totaled," the person says as they take off there helmet letting her hair down.
Phoenix's jaw just drops. His CO was a hot chick!

Qui's jaw drops open as well. He stared until he saw Phoenix's glare met his...he shook his head and was speechless....Phoenix understood completely. A smile crossed his face. He walked over to him, and shook his head again to himself. "Now all that did, was give me a massive headache." He leaned to the side slightly. "I originally came to maim Joshua, but I beleive I can postpone the beating for now," he says jokingly..

"Well glad to see you here," Phoenix says to Qui "After finding out about my CO." Phoenix laughs abit "But now there are other things to deal with. Like the rain of death."

Qui chuckles... You lucky son of a bitch. *he glances at the CO* She's fine... *coughs* "but anyway...on that note...yes... the rain of death...

"It reminds me of the nukes that flew almost 15 years ago," Phoenix says to Qui "3 of them hit Paladin in the first 3 hours."

Is there anyway that I can be of assistance? *he says with a smile*

"Ya help with the getting the hel out of the bunker part," Phoenix says as he walks towards the door and begens kicking it. "
"It won't work Captian. I had the doors renforced last month," The CO says
"Damn it. Well what would work? General."
"Just call me Lyn," she says "A small nuke would work."

Qui seems amused. "I got it..." he says moving toward the door. IN seconds, a blinding flash is seen as his hand come in contact with the door, and it ripps open entirely with a small explosion. It was a celestial attack, not that Phoenix would notice, but if someone did....

"Thank god for vampires," Phoneix says as he steps through the door first looking a the damage. "Damn the place is almost melted."
"Wow but what hit us?" Lyn asks

"Amen to that," he says revealing two sharp fangs as he smiled.

"A orbital weapon Lyn," Phoenix says "It was code named Plasma Rain for the type of attack it uses."

"So what are we going to do?" he asked leaning on a chared wall. "We can't just blast the thing out of the sky."

"Well if you want to rain pure plasma down on Phalanix killing millions go right ahead," Phoenix says

"Wow and I thought the Spartan program was the most secret thing in Phalanix," Lyn says

"I said WE CAN'T just blast it out of the sky," he says with a laugh. Phoenix's attention was obviously somewhere else... "Is there anyway we can gain access to it? Control it?"

"Ya we can control it but we can't overide the beacon comands," Phoenix says "And befor the blast was fired a beacon was activated."

"Anything and everything can be rerouted...where is the beacon?"

"Melted," Phoenx says "You can only use them once befor the cannon totals them. About 3 years ago 15 beacosn were stolen from this very bunker."

"Got any idea who took them?" he laughs slighlty. "Really hoping I could use that on Joshua..." *snickers slightly*

"You would be killed as well if you used one Qui," Phoenix says "But anyways no one knows. Also that same day a suit of Black Phoenix X Armor was stolen as well as some Razer armor."

"I'm already dead," he chuckles slightly. "We can't just sit hear and wait to die...and for me, I really don't want to die AGAIN."

"Ok so lets get the f**k outa here," Phoenix says as he steps into the hall and his boots sink into a puddle of melted metal.
"Dosn't that hurt?" Lyn asks Phoneix
"Very much," Phoenix says as he wads deeper into the pools of metal

Qui starts to walk behind Phoenix. His black boots touch the metal, and he begins to walk across it...without breaking the surface. He jumps back quickly, slightly startled. He was gaining the abilities of Rave's power...and that meant...Rave would...no..he wouldn't accept it. He'd rather to it the vampiric way. He levitated slightly above the water, following Phoenix.

OOC:It is melted metal

Lyn just slowly starts walking into the metal pool her lower armor being able to handel the metal
Slowly Phoenix made his way yo the shallower end of the pool and says "Now tha painful part comes. The mettal over here is supper heated with...ah shit a plasma pipe burst."

"What exactly do you plan to do?" he asked in a deep voice. "Dip the bastards in metal and make a key chain out of them?"

"Na I think make them vampires and toture them for about 15 years then kill them," Phoenix says as he steps in the smoldering plasma/metal pool.

"Aww...that's no fun...and I need a new keychain," he said with an upbeat tone. He never did lose his sense of humor.

"Well you can do that after I'm done," Phoenix says as he winces as some plasma enters his boots.
Lyn just stops "I can't walk through this. My legs will be melted off!"
Phoenix just turns around and walks over to Lyn "Get on my back then."
Lyn does so and Phoenix begens walking once more

Outside the bunker, a very loud roar can be heard. The CCSS israel comes in for a landing, barely squeeing into the area. An APC drops out of the launch bay and drives towards the bunker. An officer driving the APC broadcasts out "Hey, anyone need help in here?"

OOC: I'll be back in a few hours RL time to pick you guys up or something, cya

Phoenix just grumbles as the plasma begens burning his feet. But he keeps walking. "I hate this area of the bunker. I should have shot the guy who designed it," Phoenix says

Qui: I might be able to help, *he says. The strength of the anceint was aparent, and Phoenix knew what he was thinking.*

Lyn:Well if it gets us out of this plasma pit do it

Qui pulled both Lyn and Phoenix from the metal effortlessly. He stopped in mid air for a moment. A white light surrounded him, and was blinding to the two of them. A powerful surge was sent down into the middle, and the top became solid. He placed them down, and nearly collapsed. It was powerful...the fact that THAT was a celestial power was evident. A white streak formed in Qui's hair.

Phoenix just puts Lyn down and pulls off a boot and pours out some plasma and sighs abit. "Hey Qui your hair."

Qui looks at his reflection in the metal and nearly falls back. "Gah!" he remarks as he twists the short strand. "That never happened to Rave..."

"Now that is weired," Lyn says as she stands up

"Yea....strange," there was nothing he could do about it now though. One small white streak shot through his hair. He knew what was happening. He was gaining Rave's abilities, for he would end up taking her place if she failed...and even her celestial powers were coming to him. He was half vampire...and half angel...he never embraced his angelic side...

From the other side of the plasma pool, a slim, graceful figure with a pale grey cloak steps from the shadows beyond.

"And one wonders why you didn't take the easy way." Came the feminine voice as the black armor clad woman gestured to a side door.

OOC: Would it intrude on your fun for the APC to bust in and rescue everyone? :)

Captain Marshall sighed. He couldn't understand what Black had been thinking, sending him and his men to this hell-hole. He looked around. His men.

50 of the lowest scum ever to wear a HOPLITE1 battle suit. 50 motherkillers, who only remained loyal out of fear. "I'm being punished. I'm sure of it."

((Pheonix, when ever I'm not on my men will follow Pheonix's orders.))

Qui stretched for a moment, then glanced at Phoenix and Lyn. "Well come on now, the floor is only temporary...should last about ten minutes, and I really don't want another white streak in my hair. I'm not an angel." Techincally, he was half-angel, but from the way Phoenix and others knew him, Qui being an angel was slightly farfetched.

Phoenix started walking again towards the new prson and says "That way was melted in. Now to reach the surface befor the second half od the programing comes into play."

"What second half?" Lyn asks as she begens walking once more.
"The half that will fire down a second brust," Phoenix says

"Was melted." The woman said as she turned, her silvery cloak billowing behind her and exposing the softly glowing cryo rifle slung over her shoulder. "Let's get out of here before it collapses any further."

"It won't," Phoenix says "It will only fill up with plasma. Even I can only stand so much." Phoenix begesn walking across oncee more and sighs as he sees a second metal pool but looks over and sees a pair of Nano-Steel boots and grabs them. He quickly throws them to Lyn.
"What the hell are these?" she asks.
"Nano-steel boots. You can walk through the plasma safely with them," Phoenix says

Qui cracked his knuckles. This new found power was making him extremely nervous, not only for himself, but for Rave.

"Also I think the back up elivator my be online," Phoenix says as he steps into the second plasma pool and grumbles slightly. Lyn quickly putts on the boots and begens walking into the pool. Hesitently at first then she works up the courage to go into the pool. She begens to fallow closly behind Phoenix

"And where exactly is the elevator?" Qui asked, seemingly not want to step into the plasma, he levitated above the surface.

"Through 5 more halls. Most likley like this one," Phoenix says as he reaches the end of the pool and smirks slightly as he sees the hall is acualy clear for once

The woman leaps from the floor to wall to wall, easily clearing the plasma.

"And you have plasma pipes in a bunker with only one way out...why?"

Qui flips down to the clear ground, thankful that her would be able to walk for once. He ran his hand through his short dark hair, and continued on.

"This wan't the only way out," Phoenix says "And plasma is the life blood of this bunker it keep everything running. But the cannon strike was never ment to happen."

Qui continued to walk. A burst of pain shot through his side, as if he had been sliced with a rusted sword. He almost lost his balance for a minute, and the pain subsided. He looked at the ground for a moment, as if to collect his thoughts, and continued on, trying to make it as unnoticable as possible.

-----15 Floor up-----
"Hold them off!" a corpral shouts as he opens fire with his assult rifle.
"There are to many of them!" another corpral shouts over the clater of automatic weapons fire.
Suddenly a pulsing blue orb flyins towards the corprals and explodes killing both of them instantly

"Yeah, you're a real bright one. Of course the cannon strike wasn't meant to happen." She said, pulling out a blueprint from a pocket. "Hmm...according to these blueprints, if an explosion of over 5 megatons hit the bunker, the other ways out are practially guaranteed to be blocked. Plasma powering a bunker...pure illogical thought. And to think the Royal Snipers gave me a good impression..."

"Hey would you rather run on a star fusion that has a record for blowing up," Phoenix says "And plasma can be reused."

"What's going on down there? First squadron, march!"
