After discussion about my departure, many comments (in the forums and in TM) were made that really got me to thinking. I know that there are some that look up to me, and some that hate me, but it seems that people on both sides do not want to see me go.

Now, you may be saying to yourself, "Oh great, AMF just did this for attention." I can assure you, I am no Drum Gods and this was not for attention. Over the past 2 weeks, I got pneumonia from my younger brother, and I've been put on several drugs to help break up the fluid in my lungs, and to reduce my fever. I've been in la-la land for the past few days, and some of my comments/criticisms/flames are things that I now regret. You all know that I wouldn't say something that I did not mean with my whole heart, but I believe that last night I said something that I did not mean.

You all know that I love NS and waste too much time on it (which will change, my grades depend on it). I'm sure some of you knew that I would never just walk out, and I guess you're right.

I will continue where I left off, although some things are going to change in my RP style. For one thing, I am and will be forever more moden tech. That means that I am MODERN TECH, and space tech has no place with me. I will RP with those that may be a little fantasy, or a bit magic, but no space. It's not fair, and there is no way for a modern tech nations to defeat a space nation. Ortillery and kinetic missiles are simply gay.

Now, back to the topic at hand.

I'll say this much, the only reason I'm staying is because of the players. Not the n00bZ or the elitists, but the average player who comes here to have fun. And to those average players, I say this:

I am sorry for my recent behaviour, and for my thread about leaving. It was selfish, and you know that I am not like that. I apologize to you, and will not take my matters out on you anymore. This is the absolute closest I've ever come to leaving. I've given away my puppets, but the people I gave them to can keep them for awhile, until I want them back.

Again, I hope you realize that this whole matter was NOT for attention, I was seriously about to leave. Now I have to quick TM Pantera and tell him not to change my password.

Let's give it one more try now, let's give it one more spin.

I might not do one of those for awhile, but I am going to RP my nation coming back into existance.

For those that don't know (ICly), AMF vanished in an interdimensional tear, and the islands were no more. I move my nation to the region "Hell", so I 'll leave it up to you to decide what happens next. :twisted:

We don't play together much... Well, in all honesty, I've got to say, I don't think we play together at all, and you probably haven't noticed me, but I've got to say I've noticed you. I make a point of reading your stuff, and I'm glad you're sticking around. It'd get boring without you. (Well, as boring as this place ever gets, anyway. :P)

However, it is ultimately anyone's right to decide who they do or do not RP with - however justified their reasons may be from the point of view of others.

I hope you get well soon, Auto. I have had pneumonia myself, and can sympathise with the lack of clarity that comes with being dosed up on syringes full of antibiotics and painkillers.

Boats near the site of the former AMF islands were casually going about thier business, until a blinding flash of light filled the sky. In an instant, the water became occupied once again by the land of Automagfreek. Except...something was different. The land had changed as well as the people. An unholy aura was projected from the darkened mainland, and the panicked sailors moved as quick as they could from the shores. Damien had stepped through, and he looked at himself. He had changed so much that he no longer recognized himself, but he did not care. He did wonder how Xel would react, but that thought was promptly squashed by the newfound fire inside.

As for ignoring space tech, I think it should be on a person by person basis, as several space nations *valinon and I* rarely if ever use ortilary or bombardments from space. I agree, they are quite gay if you can't defend against them. Oh well, enough hijacking your thread, Welcome back big guy, I look foward to seeing what you do with the Freeks next.
