We have been for the last year(NS) working on a new main battle tank. Here are the results from the pain staking research and development.

Behemoth MBT

Power Plant: AGT-1500 turbine engine 1500 HP
Maximum speed: 45 MPH
Maximum range: 300 miles
Armament: 1-120mm. smooth bore cannon
1-M2 .50 Caliber [12.7mm] Machine Gun
1-M240G Medium Machine Guns
1-(anti-aircraft) 7.62mm MG
1-internaly mounted mortar
Smoke dischargers
Optics: has a FLIR ( forward looking infaRed) system

You could slap on an internally-loaded mortar (as in the Merkava).

Looks good. Might want to add some comment on the optics used (i.e., Infrared and/or NVG seekers for night and haze, optical magnifications, targeting)...if you can.

The Behemoth does pretty well against most vehicles, It only suffers in hilly terrain where its size cuts down on maneuverability. Also, it is assumed that the Behemoth will always travel with some kind of AA escort. Otherwise, things could get ugly. Also, mud and sand slow it down, due to its immense weight.

Yes we will always keep them with an AA escort but or research and development team is already loking for a way to put Stinger missile launchers on them.
