Background
The Dominion of Whispering Voices is an old nation, renowned for its experts in the arts of making clockwork and rich, creamy chocolate. It is famous for it's laissez-faire approach to foreign politics, its reliance upon its friendly diplomats for peace, and its general disdain for militaries of any form.
Geography
Location: Mid Atlantic, due east of the West Indies.
Geographic Co-ordinates: 00 00 N, 50 00 West.
Map references: Mid Atlantic.
Area: total: 9,596,031 km sq; water: 270,550 km sq; land 9,324,481 km sq.
Area - comparative: slightly smaller than China.
Land boundaries: Demonspire, Iesus Christi, Isla de Penguinata.
Coastline: 14,500 km.
Maritime Claims: continental shelf; exclusive fishing zone 5,000 NM, territorial sea 500 NM.
Climate: scorching hot, with mistrals typhoons and hurricanes whipping up the sand into dust devils (hence regional name, The Devils Desert).
Terrain: mostly desert, with some more desert in between the desert.
Elevation extremes: Lowest point: the Sinkhole, -501m. Highest point: Big Dune near Silence, 3m.

Whispering Voices, being a poor nation unable to develop its vast amount of military-grade minerals, cannot afford a military. It is reliant upon its neighbours Raevyn and Ell for such support.
