With water now covering a portion of Mars numerous water-based sports and recreational activities have found a resurgance. Recently a Sunset-based company, Marineris Diving, put out the following advertisement on the internet. Ads also ran on late night tri-d and holovision channels throughout the system.

Nearly 200 years ago, Mars was home to four great nations, each now forgotten. Volaria, Delgados, Platonic, and The Clypsedra Dawn. Each were as varied and interesting as their names, and now you can explore those nations again.

Marineris Diving has discovered the locations of many of their cities beneath the waves of the Oceanis Borealis. Our expert divers have begun exploring their wonders, but they wish to share the experience with the whole system.

A montage of images follows - historic images from each nation along with underwater images of the ruins of cities.

Dive teams are forming now for this once in a lifetime opportunity. Rates are cheap, and times are plentiful. Be a part of this opportunity to explore a piece of history. Perhaps your name will make it's way into the history books.

Dive Old Mars - Excitement and wonder await!

OOC: Characters will be part of a dive team exploring the ruins of one of the listed nations. New characters are welcome at any time and they can be amatuers or professionals.

If you don't prefer digging up corpses, I suggest that you quit fooling around there. Those ruins are our old cities, and they are far older than 200 years. We left Mars over a thousand years ago.

The technology there might be new and exiting by your standards, but relics to us. If you must go there, then you might need a guide through the possibly still hazardous defensive equipments. You have been lucky not to get toasted yet. Government buildings there might still have active defences, and trust me, you won't like to meet any laser turrets there.

Guides will be coming to assist you as we speak. They will help you, for a small price of course. Does 30$/hour sound good?

OOC: The nations mentioned are the ex-nations owned by my friends, January nations all. Most had near a billion pop before they were abandoned. I'm quite sure I don't have to worry about it.
