Help Stop Newbs From Becoming N00bs!
Our Mission: Aid new players in becoming better nations RP wise and crack down on the elitists ridiculing them for being new.

(Started by me for and in memory of Automagfreek, who announced that he was leaving after getting fed up with elitists complaining about the state of the board. That started me thinking: if someone like AMF would consider leaving (and if you know AMF, you know what I mean), then this board must REALLY be in bad shape. And it is up to those of us still here to shape it up. It is your responsibility, it is my responsibility. It is all of our responsibility. Basically, this is just trying to preserve the glory of what we once had. Let me clarify: many new nations are great RPers. Many old nations are bad RPers. But generally, we had better RPs in the older months. We need to bring the good RPs back, because today's RPs are regarded as generally worser ones. We need to re-instate the motivation people seemed to have before to create beauty through RPs. I myself don't see much of that anymore today. So hopefully you all can respect my quest to bring back the beauty of good RPs. Again, new nations can feel free to join as well, not just the old ones. As long as you are willing and dedicated to bringing the 'good RP' back. And yes, we do still have many brilliant RPs going, but not as much as we could and should have. Let us work together to bring everybody's potential out to show the world.)

All right, I come back yesterday to find Automagfreek leaving. Now that just outright sucks, he and I both started this damn thing just about together, and I'm not about to watch my old friends start getting killed off by the influx of horrible RPers.
To preserve everything good, holy, old, and professional, I bring you: Ye Olde Schoole Clanne. No stupid little acronyms for this one, the first man to say 'YOSC' is a dead man. For all the older nations, those who were here when Slag was still a newb, those who were here back for the Amerigo Crisis, the first actual World War, the real and first GDODAD, Nanakaland... This clan is for you!
We must save the constantly leaving older nations and keep them here, in a last ditch attempt to prevent the entire place being taken over by yesterday-created nations who can't spell 'owned' to save their own lives. And we must be immortal. We will not take shit from anybody, we will be the egotistical bastards that these poor excuses for roleplayers have been fearing would come back. We will put the corrupt in their places. We will put the selfish fascists who think they run this place (I'm talking about all of you who think it is your god given right to be dickwads, not the moderators) in their places!
But we must remember ourselves whilst we do this. We shall not resort to spam, we shall not resort to flaming, we shall not resort to idiocy! We shall stand strong and set all those who step out of line back into line! We shall see to it that the 'good' RP is re-born, and that the old nations don't feel compelled to leave due to a massive spam attack of mispelled RPs!

You must have noticed all the good and older players dropping out. How does that make you feel? Some of them aren't even angry, just disappointed at what our great world has become. We talk about the 'glorious old days' as if it was some golden time that we could never bring back. Well that's not true. There are countless fine members of our society who have the potential to be all that this place used to be back in the days before. All we need to do is stand against the corruption eating away at our wonderful world. We must stand against those whose only purpose is to anger others, against those who hide behind moderators for protection and depend on them to survive, against those who do not take responsibility and see that things get done themselves, against those who do not stand up to their actions, against those who make some of us shake our heads in poor stupification, and against those who use their power for corrupt purposes. I am not asking of you to help form some kind of elite aristocracy that will become decadent as soon as it begins, nor a gestapo to be feared and resented. I am asking of you to become a police. The police. I need you to stand up for those who are unfairly treated, against those who constantly and intentionally irritate others. We must act swiftly and without doubt in our minds, but we must not forget our places. We will not become great, we will not become remembered, we will not become legends. This does not make us more powerful, nor does it qualify us as apt for positions of power. All that it does is give us initiative to regain the fabled 'old world' RPs that so many of us seem to recall, yet don't spend any effort trying to bring back. We must not lose more brilliant minds to the sweeping tides of the ignorant masses. And I do not talk about the new ones, I talk about those who can not accept and do not respect the grace of what this whole world of ours should be. Whether you join or do not, we are all in this together, and there's no way around that. I have presented you with our cause, but it is now your turn to make the decision. I trust that you will choose what is best.

We do not need a region, a website, nor tons of members. I am against that concept for this clan. This is not some group to get high on itself. All we need to do is remember our commonly held beliefs and principles. We must revive the ancient glory of our world's culture. We must go back to the Hellenistic era, to the Reinassance. Viva!

Please stop. OK? Just don't do this. Regardless of what you may thing, it's not cool to purposely aggravate people. I think that you're probably a good guy, and judging by this post, an intelligent one. But think: you know that people aren't going to take kindly to you posting something 'ridiculous' like this, so why do it? Maybe you're pissed off with some of the people in here who take this too seriously, or the ones who reply with mispelled words like 'faggot' in their responses. But still, please consider those of us who are trying to make this a better place, one in which we don't have people purposely trying to aggravate others. Come on. I know you're a smart guy, you're better than this. Please don't start more fights like this one, put that energy and creativity into a good RP, because I don't doubt you are capable of making one. And if you don't want to participate like that in this game, then please don't ruin it for the rest of us. Respect the fact that some of us are here to have fun and take part in something we enjoy and are good at as well. I'm not going to go call the moderators on you or anything, I'm going to leave this up to you. It's your call, your choice. Just think about it though. Thanks.
