NKS Reveals Radical Plans to Industrialise
Premier Fidel Nico Zog, speaking at the 25th Congress of the nation's ruling Revolutionary People's Party told the delegates present that the newly liberated Republic would be persue a radical series of 5 Year Plans so that the Republic could catch up with the western nations. This huge policy-fest would be called the Great Leap Foward, with the aim of industrialising the nation and creating a a truely proletariat state.
During the speech the Premier was presented with six 7 minute standing ovations showing his popularity, not only as leading of the rebels during the civil war, but now as the drynamic leader behind this newly founded communist state.
It is expected that Premier Zog will recieve a lot of economic aid for this development, particulary from the its socialist neigbour Galdania, and there are fears that the newly freed state could be come a mere sattelite state, however as it stand these remain largely unfounded.
