Capitol City, EBONY ISLANDS--In the first democtatic elections in The Ebony Islands' history, President M'fume Sese was elected with 65% of the popular vote. The Ebony Democrat said that his first goal was to grant amnesty to the Ebony Defenders in the hopes that their rebellion will cease. After that he wants to work on the stabilization of the nation with the Defarians in the hopes that they can leave. "Please have patience with me. It will take me some time to eliminate the corrupt and unfair practices of former governments, but when it happens, all Ebony Islanders will be able to tell it has occured. Coming in with 11% of the vote was the Conservative parties Gerald Aktar and with 8% was Hakim El-Raheem of the Ebony Defenders Party. 5 other candidates split the remaining votes.
