3000 bc.

Night had barely fallen when the Bandits attacked. The Traveler on the road was caught of guard for a minute. He chuckled in
amusement at how easy it would be to beat them. There were five of them
and one of him. However he had something they didn't. A sword. He drew
the weapon and the bandits ran. The traveler decided to rest for the
night.

He sat down. His name was Célåck. He was a young man around 20 years old but he had an air of maturity around him. He was tall and well built. He didn't doubt for a minute he could have beaten the
bandits without the sword but he wanted to save his strength. He had a
long journey ahead of him. He was heading to the new colony.

The new colony, as it was called was founded a mere 2 years
ago. It was founded by some settlers from the great empire of CapAp.
They came across a fertile valley with a large rain forest and a river
running through it. They traveled down river until they came to two
hills, one on each side of the river. They built a colony there and
named it Ellétirï, which means land of bounty, in their language.

5 years later Célåck had arrived and set up a blacksmith shop
creating tools for the farmers and weapons for the soldiers. Life was
hard for the settlers for they were constantly oppressed by the empire.
They were taxed constantly. If a solider came to their farm they had to
feed him. If they didn't they were killed to show an example to the
other farmers. As a result unrest was brewing.

Célåck hated this oppression and begun to hold secret
meetings with the farmers. They planned to uprise and take control of
the valley from the empire and it's soldiers. So Célåck began to make
weapons for the farmers.

However some of the farmers wanted no part of the rebellion
and went to the soldiers. On the morning before the uprising was
supposed to begin three soldiers came to arrest Célåck. He did not go
easily. He slew the soldiers and the rebellion began. He ran to each
house, telling the men that the rebellion had started. The farmers
grabbed their weapons and attacked the garrison of soldiers. All 25 of
the soldiers either surrendered or were killed. Except for one. One who
escaped and told the emperor of what happened.

The emperor was furious. One of his colonies decided that
they didn't want his protection amongst other things? He decided to show
them that they did need protection. They needed protection from him. He
decided that an army of 200 men would be enough to squash those
rebellious traitors. They would feel his wrath.

"Great leader may I speak?" inquired the farmer. Célåck
smiled at the fact that the farmers called him great leader and asked
him for permission on every thing they did. It was great for the ego.

"You may."

"Our scout report that an army is coming. An army that has

twice as many people as we do. They are also better equipped, trained

and are going to be here by tomorrow morning."

Célåck raised an eyebrow at that fact. He could fortify the
town against any attack if given a week's notice but a day? This would
not be easy. He would have to make a plan now. He sat and thought for a
minute.

"Go and find out how many men can be archers and how many
bows we have."

"Great leader, Grïshnåh is an archer."

Grïshnåh was the leader of the CapAp garrison. He had ordered his men to surrender but Célåck did not trust him. However they were short of men and he was a superior archer.

"Fine, we will use him."

The next morning came fast. All through the night
preparations were made for the coming battle. A make shift wall and gate
was made out of wood during the night. On top of the wall there were
archers. Behind the gate lay the farmers with their weapons.

The CapAp army march into view of those on the walls. Their
shields shone brightly in the morning sun, and their red uniforms stood
out of place in the fields. All 200 of them marched forward and drew
their swords. They approached the gates.

5 men on the walls stood up and fired their bows and the
CapAp soldiers. Their arrows missed. 10 of the enemy soldiers fired
their crossbows at the men on the wall and they either died or ducked
down. The CapAp men began to ram the gate breaking it open. What was
standing there was not what they expected.

It was Célåck carrying two swords. Only Célåck. The CapAp
commander feeling pretty confident sent 2 men to kill the foolish young
man. Célåck waited until they came near and then he started to attack
them. He caught one off guard with a downward slash. The other one
blocked his first slash at him but was unprepared for the second sword
sweeping through his legs. 5 more men decided to show him why he was so foolish. He started to sweat. He did not expect to face 5 men. He
started to doubt this plan of his but he still had to keep it up. He
thrust his sword into the first one but it got stuck. He started to
parry the other blows until he pulled his sword free. when his sword was
free he swung it around decapitating one of the other soldiers. His
elbow came around and knocked another solider out. The other 2 soldiers
kept their distance and circled around him. He grabbed two daggers from
his belt and threw them at the enemy soldiers. Each one fell with a
dagger in his chest. A cry came out from the ranks of the CapAp soldiers
to charge. Célåck ran and as the last enemy solider went through the
remains of the gate he yelled

"NOW!"

The 20 archers that remained hidden on the wall fired their
arrows into the backs of the CapAp soldiers while the farmers burst out
of the houses along the road side and charged the confused CapAp troops.

Despite their shock the CapAp soldiers recovered quickly. The turned to
attack the farmers when Célåck charged them swinging his sword around.
He started cutting a clear path trough them to the commander, while the
farmers started clearing a path to Célåck and the archers were shooting
anyone who gave the farmers serious trouble.

Célåck reached the CapAp commander. He was a man with an
aristocratic air around him. He seemed like a noble men of some descent.
He was probably some lesser noble. He carried a rapier and used it well.

Célåck slashed and thrust his swords at the Commander but to
no avail. The commander just had too much skill. He single slash from
the commander and he lost one sword. Another slash from the commander and his other sword went flying. The commander kicked him in the chest and he fell. The commander raised his sword for the killing blow

It can't end here, there is still much to do. I must survive
to save these people, thought Célåck

The commander smiled. Just bringing the sword down would kill the rebel leader and crush their moral. His army would sweep through
them and he would be a hero. Victory was his! He then felt a sharp pain
in his back and chest. He looked down to see an arrowhead sticking
through his chest. He died and fell over.

Célåck looked up and saw that it was Grïshnåh who had fired
the arrow that saved his life. Grïshnåh quickly nodded his head and then
returned to the battle.

The CapAp troops were deeply affected by the loss of their
leader. At first one surrendered then more and more and more until all
had surrendered. The battle had been won. The farmers were free. They
renamed their land Célåck to honour their great leader.
