Ted Williams, the Assitant Director of the International Soma Distribution Office (I.S.D.O.) looked over the latest numbers on the popularity of Soma and the estimated desire for the drug in nations with an offical ban on the drug, either entirealy or only allowing it to be used with a perscription... well the numbers said otherwise, in nearly ALL nations with such a ban evidence of an underground market for Soma was growing, under the cloak of street names (like White Happiness, S-Trip, and Slove) street-grown (and often dangerous) versions of Soma were being made and sold to the peoples of various nations with bans on the drug, well that would change once the Brave New Ford World began to take over the markets with the real version of Soma.

By Ford the evils of the savages would be exposed through Soma and their children would rebel and bring about the Brave New Ford World in all nations... By Ford this would be done.

With the shadow war over, the northern part of the Knootian megacity had slowly gone back to being a bristling centre of activity again. From high windows in the the towering office, commuters could be seen traveling in all directions in their hydrogenpowered cars. As one of one of the top businesses in trading Recreational Drugs in the NS world, RecDrug Inc had a reputation to uphold and the corporate offices were clean and luxourious. Nothing reminded of the street-dealers that the company made it's money off.

Tennet Radeling, head of International Exports division for RecDrug In corporated looked worried. Exports to certain nations had been going down. He tsssked: "Those exports to >insert nation< are down 4,3 percent over the last quarter. And it has been going on and on. What IS going on over there."

While his division still had a sizable stake in all operations, it seemed as if there was a leak somewhere. "And I have to find out where. The entire company is based on exports. Especially with profitmargins in Knootoss being as low as they are."

He watched out of the window of his office over the old city, his eyes trailing over the canals, finding patterns. "I'll have to start an investigation. Ask the dealers on the streets what they know..."

The patterns were quite simple, the dealers of the new (and popular) drug Soma got their shipments of the drug from Drug runner boats that came from the Brave New Ford World, the nation that produced it, go-betweens on the ships gave the bottles of Soma to the dealers who gave them payment for the shipments, the dealers then sold the drug to the buyers and then split the money with the go-betweens from B.N.F.W. who delivered it to The Controller Counsel. Everybody was making money off of the drug and there were no real problems to be seen on the horizon as Soma was both non-addictive and had no health risks... so as long as you didn't take too much of the drug in one sitting.

A similar system to this was being created in all nations that had any sort of restrictions on Soma, the Brave New Ford World was going to make a profit out of this no matter what anyone tried to do.

Unfortunatley for those selling Soma in Kecha, Kecha had a very good Police Department in the form of the Kechan National Police Department(KNPD), and allmost every dealer never sold much before being captured, and most Soma was being siezed as it was found, though the Government was starting to do tests on the stuff, for their own reasons, the KNPD began to form a special division to hunt down the Soma itself, the Dealers who sold, the Distributors who gave it to the Dealers, and the Producers who made the foul gunk, so far the special unit had no name aside from "Police Drug Authority Division" "PDAD" for short, and it was kept a major secret.

The Community of Brave New Ford World I do not believe Soma is at all safe, contrary to your claims, we don't need PILLS for happiness, and we don't need the Brave New Ford World, and Kechans tend to stay healthy for a good while, it's the special programs used in the NADE-Academies.

OOC: Kecha is right, his citizens are incredabily disaplined and have been brought up to respect the law. Sales would be somewhat limited, with exception to the foreigners... though I doubt they would like to go to a strict nation to take drugs...

Meanwhile the Iuthian market is slowly raising, though only in a very small amount. While the drug is legal, most of the citizens would rather take something simpler like canabis (sp) becuase Soma has yet to earn their trust... plus they have given Soma a "nerd" image becuase it gives you "true happiness" and the citizens feel that only sad people need to find true happiness in a drug...

Oh, and we have done extensive medical testing on the drug before allowing the nation to consume it. This includes, but is not limited to:

Molecular Structure Tests (what it is made from)
Medical Trials for 6 months
Chemical Composition Tests (again, what it is made from)
Microscopic Analysis

Red Light District, Amsterdam, Knootoss

The nightlife in Amsterdam was teeming with activity, and especially in the Red Light District it was a coming and going of men ánd women seeking a little pleasure to ease the tensions in their lives somewhat. The RLD was a far cry from the seedy dark alleys in other countries though. Prostitution, as a recognised industry, had a reputation to uphold. In the front, beautiful young ladies and men sat behind clean windows in the red limelight. Further down the road were the older women who put their bodies as wares in the balance of supply and demand. Besides the odd Knootian, most people visiting were tourists who had come here to see the wonders of what claimed to be one of the most liberal nations in the NS world.

There was a small fight in front of one of the more chic brothels when one of the ladies refused to service a highly drunk Syskeyian man, of course a tourist. “I ain’t letting that pig touch me again!” she shouted and with that the man was removed from the house by two strongly armed men wearing black T-shirts.

On a street corner, a man in foreign dress was selling Soma, the new wonder drug. He was busily haggling over prices with a Knootian police officer when another man stepped out of a car with darkened windows. The unknown man, who wore dark sunglasses, butted in on the conversation. “You’re selling Soma?” The dealer nodded but the policeman looked offended: “Excuse me, I was here first!” The unknown man did not so much as glance at the copper as he addressed the dealer: “I am buying your entire supply. Here are 20.000 euros for your troubles.” He handed the baffled dealer a small chest, which was filled with money and then turned to the police officer: “Sorry Mr… Brendt”, he said looking at the card, “How much had you sought to purchase?” “Just a couple of pills, not too much. But I was here first and you…” “…here you are”, the unknown said as he handed the policeman a strip. Taking the entire supply he went back into his car that drove away with the hydrogen powered engine silently humming.

Recdrug Incorporated Sisgardian Division, Mönchengladbach, Der Angst

In the high commercial business district of the Angstian capital the building were rising high and tall. As the wind turned, the brown and green polluted clouds of smoke were coming in from the industrial area, clouding the atmosphere of what had once been a living land. Amidst all that stood the centre responsible for the promotion, distribution and retail of all Knootian recreational drugs and other items in all of Sisgardia. The parts of Sisgardia where it was legal anyways, and of course Diablo for the time that King William was insane. The corporate headquarters was like an atmospheric bubble, completely cut off from the outside world except of course for ingoing and outgoing communications. Of course, this was largely due to environmental concerns, but keeping the prying eyes and minds of the Angstian telepaths out was also a concern.

Looking down on all of this from his corporate office was 63 year old head of Sisgardian Operations Grootman. For him, this assignment would be the top and the end of his careers if he was lucky. He rearranged a plant standing near the window, withering as it was in the dry office environment. With sad eyes he looked at the green thing which was struggling for life, drawing strength from the bright white light in the office. “By Eru you’ve become old and sentimental with the years”, he sighed, ”Only 2 more years till retirement… a nice place somewhere in Tanah Burung.. He tried to think back of his childhood in the former Knootian colony but he did not seem to remember anything. ”Should be a delightful place now, but I cannot even remember. Years of corporate report this and crisis that and what do I have to show for?”

The door chimed, and not even a second later it chimed again. “Enter”, Grootman said with a yielding voice.

With firm steps, a young executive entered. This careermaking Knootian had just arrived from corporate headquarters back in the Democratic Republic and had been intimately involved in many of the corporations less nice deals. The executive was an Aryan right out of a Nazi textbook, with a firm jaw and cold, steel blue eyes. Grootman turned and looked up, recognising the face of Dolf Huizen instantly, and involuntarily a thought crossed the Head of Operations mind: ”Introduced pure 98,5% pure cocaine to the teen market. No wonder they have assigned this lad to DA. No heart.

Dolf coldly stated his message. “News is in from corporate HQ. We got the soma. Angstians are probably after it too.”

“That is good news”, Grootman said and he smiled. The smile was not returned. “Has R&D made an analysis yet?” Grootman asked. Dolf continued: “Only preliminary. But we have not yet managed to ascertain the core components. However we have learned much from the streets. The drug is taken in pills, alone at home, and it induces an effect which is called a Soma holyday. Basically it causes pleasurable hallucinations rendering the customer virtually unconscious for the duration of the effect.”

Grootman sighed: “So it’s not one of those latest party crazes. This is a lonely drug, for lonely people. Escapism from an uncompassionate world.”

Dolf shrugged coldly: “At least our party drugs divisions need not fear for competition.” Dolf had harboured a deep disrespect for the old man which was now very apparent. “Just wait untill this weak old man retires and then I can take over Sisgardian Operations. In 10-15 years I’ll be CEO of the entire corporation.”

Dolf’s tone became insistent: “Another thing, Sir.” He cleared his throat. “I heard you have been outside again. One of my men has watched you and he noticed some White Hawk people following you.”

They do, they always do. And they know things. Always probing your minds these Angstians. Looking for an advantage.” He almost whispered. “Telepaths”

Dolf gave Grootman a cold stare: “yes – and they will continue to try to probe you until they have all poisoned themselves and use their own bodies as natural resources.”, he took a step in the direction of the head of operations, facing him closely. “Sir, it is of utmost importance that you do not take unnecessary risks. In your interest and in that of the corporation.”

Grootman barked angrily: “First of all, I do not want your men following me around without my permission, not while I am in charge. Second of all I will take care of all these matters and your job is simply to lead the operations in Diablo and keep me informed. Now dismissed!”

Der Angst: The cargoship T-1408 (code designation and name) seemed to skim along the waters of the Atlantic as it made it's trip to the Netherlands to unload it's cargo, which offically was several shipments of childrens toys, unoffically however it was over 900 Crates worth of Soma, (Each crate has over 200 bottles and the bottles old over 60 pills). The Captain looked at the soma cargo deep in the storage areas at the bottom of the ship and made sure he remembered the password to open the crates, without the password the computerized keys that held the titanium crates closed would detonate upon someone else trying to open them (or even breaking them) and release a netron toxin that would poison the Soma Product and do brain damage to ANYONE who tried to open them.

The Capitan then thought, "I better get back to the wheel before that fool of an Admiral runs us into an Iceberg or worse".

The hasty footsteps of senior researcher Esselsteiyn echoed in the halls as the man made it’s way to another building in the district. Arriving in a small office building, Esselsteiyn entered with a euphoric expression on his face: “We found it!”, he blurred out. A corporate executive looked up and raised an eyebrow. But then he realised the magnitude of the message and his face lit up. Esselsteiyn continued: “We can now completely copy and reproduce Soma.”, he said as the executive stood up and shook the his hand. “Congratulations Doctor. Esselsteiyn looked a bit displeased to get into this immediately and he frowned. “Well… as perfect pleasure-drugs go, soma underwhelms. Well as the Brave New Ford World Government owned total and complete rights to the drug on all fronts, both national and international and testing of "maso" revealed it was a ripoff of Soma he sent this Warning Letter to the RecDrug CEO.

It has come to my attention that you are producing and selling a new drug called "Maso", testing of this drug has revealed that it is in fact an unautorized ripoff version of "Soma" which has been copyrighted by the B.N.F.W. Government. Unless you destroy all your supplies of Maso, publish a public apology for your blatent theft, and pay reparations to the Brave New Ford World expect to see this taken to International Court, where you will lose.

OOC: BTW I run an international trade court (perfect for this sort of action,) although if nations are not members (no one on this thread is a member,) then both must consent to bring their case, and even then the decision lacks the Esamopian Government's military backing... but if any parties wish to take this issue to court I'd be happy to hear it. Furthermore, the "Judge" has an independent personality, totally neutral and can be against or in support of the Esamopian government position.

He was the first in a new experiment that the B.N.F.W. had been working on for many years, one in which could give the B.N.F.W. an advantage over the other barbarian nations. Jason had assembled the bomb from parts and devices he found inside the RecDrug Building so he wouldn't risk being caught sneaking it in, the bomb itself had the power of over 100 pounds of C-4 and it was small enough to fit into a backpack, which is what he needed after he stuck the backpack near the boiler and readied the detonator.

Anyways, the point was that you can do this of course. I only ask myself what you want to accomplish by it. RecDrug is an international organisation and they aren't going to be completely crippled by this so Maso sales will continue unless you try to blackmail or something. Ow, and a slight nitpick, the BNW society seems to be completely directed towards order and stability. That doesn't quite rhyme with terrorism which is all about instability and chaos. From a purely ideological perspective that is. But if you want to push it through I'll play along. What do you say?
