Mönchengladbach. Midnight, in one of the nine 'high towers'. It rains, the night is full of noise and dim lights. As a matter of fact, there is never 'really' night in DA.
The room isn`t illuminated, however, the people in it don`t seem to have a problem.
"You`re sure?"
"Yeah. The explosion wasn`t an accident... well, it was, but... it will reoccur, sooner or later."
"So we can`t use it."
"Yes. We have to change it as quickly as possible."
"How expensive?"
"Not too. We can use the old designs, replacing the propulsion systems. Will work, although it`s expensive."
"Well... ok. How long?"
"One year minimum, two years maximum."
"Acceptable. Until then, we have to keep a low profile."
"Yes."

"Damn. Idiots in the command. First they demand this fucking über- stuff, now they change it, again. Useless crap."
"True. Well... Hey, the screwdriver, please."

"So, we have to change this monster into something that goes underwater?"
"Exactly. I`m sure you can do it."
"Well..." He scratched his head. "I will see what i can do."
"Good."

"Eh?"
"You heard right. You think you can do it?"
"Well... sure. But an entire fleet?
"We don`t have a choice. Just do it."
"Well... ok."
