That is all.

The Chinese Foreign Affairs Ministry recently has started that "this is only a defensive measure". It also has stated that "if the illegal government on Taiwan Province continues to show its resistance, it shall be viewed as an act of aggresion, and more live ammunition tests will commerce".

Hong Qian-2 and Hong Qian-15 SAM installations can be seen around major Chinese cities, such as Beijing, Shanghai, and even near Hong Kong.

The Chinese military is also believed to prepare for several ballistic missile tests, which can carry nuclear warheads, and have the range of reaching anywhere in Taiwan Province.

By the time they do, China would have been decimated....part at least by Taiwanese Jets and other superior equipped troops.

True, the technology over at Taiwan is very superior (well, maybe except the M-60 Tanks). But it is also true that the Chinese forces is growing. Their Type 96 is a generation ahead of Taiwan's latest tank, they vastly outnumber the Taiwanese in sheer manpower, and China fields a force of Tu-160 heavy bombers, wherease Taiwan has no medium or heavy bomber force to speak of. China also has Sovremenny (sp) class destroyers, which are pretty formidable warships.

1. True, the Taiwanese M60 Pattons are seriously behind the line.
2. Actually, China doesn't have any Tu-160, nor Tu-22m. It only has Tu-16s (which are now retired, TOO old). I've heard that the Chinese PLA is developing its own strategic bomber now.

At October 12, 2003, the Chinese People's Liberation Army, for security puproses, has begin to conduct several cruise missile testings near the Taiwan Strait. Reportly the cruise missiles are CSSC-2 and CSSC-3 anti-ship missiles, but can also be used for ground-to-ground role.

Subject: Support for Mainland China's Actions.

Text:

The country of C-G stands ready to support almost any actions taken by PRC China. Our population, which is 53% Chinese, mostly from the mainland, stands behind the government in support on this.

My Prime Minister, Stanley Ipkiss does also agree with this decision. We, Canada-Germany, would like to open Dipomatic relations with you as well.

Are the Chinese there, by any chance (ultra-)nationalistic?

Yes. But not to the point of unreason; we dont take everything for granted and uphold only our banner. THat is, if we're invited to the conference.

As the only person from Hong Kong in my mainly taiwanese church, I can agree with that.
