As the trophies are awarded on the podium Thomas Belmroe has a smile bigger than the Cheshire Cats. The Belmorian Athem plays out loud Thomas Belmore can't belive his luck
At the press conference,
Thomas Belmore:I am deleighted to get the full 12 points, the stratagy worked perfectly and I had the car under me. After getting the pole I really didn't want to muck it up and I hope I can repeat this performance at Stafford.

Tony Fiskeri and Humberto do Salzino are hanging around in the garage area. They chat away, as the Viera Team pit crew inspects the faulty gear box, causing do Salzino's DNF in round 1.
Fiskeri: I wouldn't worry about it. The season just began, we're a new team. And we're not expected to do a whole lot this season.
do Salzino: Yeah. I know. It's rough taking a DNF, when it's the season opener.
Fiskeri: Relax. We got 13 more races to prove ourselves worthy, and gain ground in the standings.
do Salzino: Isn't the next race at Stafford?
Fiskeri: Yeah. It's gonna be on our home soil.
do Salzino: Yours. Not mine.
Fiskeri: Well, somewhat yours.
do Salzino: We should do pretty good then with the homefield advantage.
Fiskeri: How's the gear box going.
Crew Chief: Should figure out what's wrong, so this doesn't happen next week.
Fiskeri: Alright. Sounds good.
