Moridia is seeking some input regarding the resources, population etc. you would need to fund and run a (NS) terrorist war similar to the one the (RL) USA did in Nicaragua with the contras. Obviously you need to have a friendly or puppet country nearby to base your insurgents, but the actual outlay of manpower should be minimal - training "advisors" in the nearby nation, pilots to run supplies, logistics personnel. Training camps in the nearby state could be funded by a secret or classified government department to keep the folks at home happy. Ideal targets would be civilian and police infrastructure, so the whole thing can be blamed on a worldwide rise of terrorism. Military troops could even be despatched to squash any resistance to your sanctioned insurgents as these would obviously be terrorists. Any thoughts on (numbers for) arms provision, logistics etc. would be welcome.
