unfair...
man, i really think that nation states should create "ages" b/c if you createed your nation when nation states was new, you can win practiaclly a\ny war cuz of the huge population and army. if you were created about 1 month after some other people, you can only battle peoploe that are weaker than you,...i think there shouled be "ages" like every 3 months, so people have a chance to fight each other.,..no empire can be most powerful forever..well in this game yes it could, but i find that retarded.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, the spelling!
Erm...no. If you jumped on early, you benefit from having a larger population over time, if you get in later, obviously you're going to be smaller (exceptions being those who had the population bug)
It's the same in business, if you get in early, you reap the largest benefits over time, whereas if you get in later.
Having a large population doesn't guarantee anything anyway, seeing as how you might divert few resources to the army, and a smaller country might divert loads of resources to it's army.
The spelling demon rises ...
The spelling demon speaks:
Oh damn. Not another one. I'm too bloody tired for this right now!
And with that, it descends back into the swamp of Proper Spelling.

Just dont declare war on any of the larger nations, simple
i just think that there should be different " ages" it makes sense, plus if you started early, you are practiacly invincible...its like the Roman Empire, they lasted VERY long, but they eventually fell, this is impossible in this though..ages are neccesary
People people please! This is not a war game. It is not about "I beat you, ha ha!" This is about role-play.
Can a large nation generally stomp a small nation? Yes. But that doesn't mean a small nation is defenseless, or even that it wants to get into such a war. There is more then one way (military) to protect your nation, and more then one way to get back at others.
Be creative, play in charicter, and have fun. Thats the point.
EDIT: And if you don't want to play with larger/older nations, just ignore them. As this is FFRP (Free Form Role Play), you are allowed to.
Well .. Yes, there are.
Okay, the First age has been: November 2002 to OCtober 2003 and still going strong.
It's entitled: 'The rule of the November Nations'

.....do you want me to annex you?
so does the first age end!?!? soon!?! at the end of october? or what, that is awesome, now people can have a chance to take on the big guys...i mean, melkor has to fall

I'd talk to Menelmacar about that.
And for those who care, the translation of the original post with only one spelling error and correct grammar usage.
I really think that NS should create a system of "ages". My reason is this: if you created your nation when NS was new, you can win practicly any war because of the huge population and army. If you were created about 1 month after some other people, you can only battle people that are weaker than you. I think there should be "ages" seperated with nations that joined every 3 months, so people have a chance to fight each other. No empire can be the most powerful forever. In this game, it could - but I find that retarded.
Basically, you want Nov. 2002 - Jan. 2003 as Era 1, Feb-Apr as Era 2, May-July as Era 3, Aug-Oct as Era 4. Only nations within your era can fight in wars against each other. Doesn't seem like a bad idea. Only problem is, what about August nations ganging up to annex an October nation. Not too great then.

That's a stupid idea. Plain and simple. Bullying smaller nations and ganging up on larger nations is part of NS. Besides...this is free form roleplay. Also...I'm not about to have some crying n00b come in here and tell us who we can go to war with.

The former, and decidedly so! We are a great people, especially once the excesses and shortcomings of our past are addressed and prevented from recurrence, as Menelmacar has done.
