I need good roleplayers, who can use story posts, make them long, and don't mind creating an entire new character for a roleplay.
Okay, for my newest RP, I need people who are willing to play NORMAL teenagers. No enhancements. No weapons, unless it's almost realistic (i.e. some thug at the school having a switchblade might be accepted, depending)
I need people to play.
The RP will happen in March of a school year at high school.
# of people needed - Description
An Optional tag means if not enough people join, these roles can be dropped. A semi-optional tag means it's best if they do exist, but in a pinch they can be dropped.
Me - The 18-year old (Birthday's in February) horribly depressed main character. More will be shown within RP
1 - The girlfriend of the main character, who's struggling desperately to maintain the trust and relationship she once had with the main character. She's 17, and her birthday is in a few days. Lately the main character's been entering withdrawl, not just from her but from the rest of the world. She's trying to get him to open up and talk to her about what he's struggling with, but to no avail. She'll do almost anything for him.
1 - Enemy of the main character. Someone who's been the main character's enemy since childhood. He's also eighteen (Birthday in January). He bullies smaller kids at the high school, and is basically the typical thug. He hates the main character, and will do anything he can to try and trip him up or sabotage the main character's dreams, ideals, and work.
1 - Friend of the main character. He's the character's best friend. Been best friends since they were about three. He's seventeen (Birthday in September) and graduating from high school, like the main character, his girlfriend, and his enemy. The best friend is kind of like the idealistic optomist of the group. He's cheerful and happy almost all of the time, although at his house it's a different story. His parents are in the beginning of a very horrible divorce, and at home he's terrible. He vents off. Once, in a fit of rage at his father, whom he considers a bastard, he threw his father's favourite dining chair out the front window. When his father yelled at him for it, he replied, "It's your problem. It's your window. It's your chair." and walked upstairs. He's cheerful, happy, and tells jokes at school, but at home he's surly and aggressive, although he tries to stay optomistic. Things don't always work out.
1 - Girl the friend's got his eye on. She hangs out with the football team, which the friend tried out for and failed at. She's currently going out with the football star, although she doesn't believe in the relationship and will end it whenever she feels is right. She's pretty, and the friend (See above) wants to ask her out as soon as she's done with the football star. However, she seems not to like him very much, at least probably not enough to go out with him. She's a nice enough girl, she just doesn't know how to pick good relationships.
1 - Football star. The classic arrogant sports star. He's good at every wport he tries, and chooses football because he likes to beat up on people. He plays hockey, but not seriously, and not in a league or anything. He's friends with the main character's enemy, but not close enough friends to help him beat up on anyone or anything of the sort. The football star is going out with the attractive girl (See above) and he's a little too thickwitted to realize she doesn't mean what she says, and that she'll break it off rather soon.
1 - Football kid (semi-optional). Good football player. Hangs out with the football star (see above) a bunch. They like each other pretty well, get along well. The football kid's smarter than he lets on, and has spotted that the football star's girlfriend is just playing with him. However, the football star'll hear nothing of it. This kid likes to think of himself as a realist and points out the flaws in everything.
2 - Bully friends (Optional). The friends of the main character's enemy. They hang out with him, help him bully freshmen, and other such things. They dislike the main character, but mostly because their friend( ) hates him. They're followers, not leaders. They would rather sink than swim.
1 - Smart Kid (Semi-Optional). The kid who's always getting A+'s, 100'2, whatever you call them. Perfect scores. (S)He gets picked on a lot by the three (or less) bullies, but (s)he can't help being smart. (S)He gets along okay with everyone else, but most people tend to ignore them because they're too smart. They try their best to make friends, but get brushed off because 'Oh look, it's Brainiac again'.
1 - Pretty girl the bullies are always teasing (Semi-Optional). She's really pretty, but she's somewhat shy. The bullies like to pick on her because she's pretty. She tends to just try and walk away from them, but it doesn't always work. She's nice, if quiet, and she's everyone's friend. She's the only friend the Smart Kid's got, although in no way are they in a relationship. She quite often gets teased for being friends with the Smart Kid.
Up to 10 - Assorted other characters (optional). These are the most optional characters. Just people they go to school with. Since these will be small roles, don't be surprised if you egt ignored posting something that doesn't directly involve someone else's character.
So come on, people! I need joiners!
