"In accordance with Vascilian League defence perogatives we have begun the construction of the Hellespontos National Defence Wall. The wall will be an expansion of the already existing Vascilian Defensive emplacements. A Demilitarised zone has been set up, bisecting Hellespontos County(New Roan) anyone caught trying to cross the demilitarised zone will be shot, that is all."

What Im thinking for this is a situation very similar to what happened in Germany after World War 2, for those who dont know The Vascilian League and Tor Yvresse both have claims to the former colony of New Roan, we both have forces in the country and basically we're going to claim the half of the country that we control by building a really big wall with guns and stuff ;)

All aggression from Tor Yvresse shall be met with equal force, and will lead to the loss of more territory in Northern Hellespontos for the Tor Yvressan forces. we will now start to patrol all of our territories daily, any Tor yvresse forces caught within the 200km limit shall be dealt with according to international law and within our rights to defend our sovereign territory!!! "

OOC: Cool...I just hope that you split the capital too...but do it correctly...not the hack job that the allies did with Russia after WWII...

ooc split the capital....i wouldnt Call Carpentaria Military base a Capital, Just finished building it...gives us full claim of the middle line of the country. Its just the land right now... we are trying to settle it as it were, and Carpentaria Also claims all land within two hundred Km so that means that we may build a city around it. the wall itslef is actually quite fine as we put ship weapons on it and these weapons have ranges of 200 000 km's iun atmosphere [3 times that in space] as any space baseed weapon would. Think of it as the iraqi supergun except with whole batteries of them and high tech targetting systems [AF has a top 900 info industry]. So the wall basically gives us an excuse to point ridiculously huge weapons at enemy nations......

It also gives us a strategic edge over the hostile nation of Pilon, as it will give us direct strike and support capabilities against their country"

ok...reading this stuff I realise people dont understand why you'd put guns on a big ass defence wall. Well here are some things to clear that up for you.

-The wall is 300 metres tall(900 feet about) and 100 metres wide(300 feet about)

-Tall walls are difficult to cross over when they're undefended, try doing that when you're being shot at by Mortar, Cannon and Machine gun.

-You can put lots of cool sensors and such on them

-Forces Fields(We dont use them...but you can put them on if you have them)

-Anti-Aircraft Artillery! you shoot down any planes that get damn close to the wall!

-Try getting close to a planet when they have space defences on them...in all reality. A huge laser cannon mounted on the surface of a planet can nail a space ship easier than the space ship can get it! Its harder to scan the surface of a planet than it is to find an object in space...believe it or not!

So all in all...really big defence walls are a real pain in the ass to get across, really expensive too.

we are glad to see you expend such great resources towards building a giant monstrosity on the land...
