<News in Eris Kallisti>

Alex Wazzat, Minister of the Kallistian Defence Squad, has ordered the nation to be on high alert due to the troubles in Resi Corp. The navy is patroling the borders, and no one goes in or our without his department's consent. Of course the Kallistian Millitary, The Ministry of Discreet Operations, and the Kallistian Defence Squad (that includes Temple Management Division), are all working together on this. The Kallistian Airforce is watching the skies as well, and our survalence of matters going on throughout the world has increased.

Traders are still welcome, but the customs department has increased the time it takes to go through things before allowing them into Eris Kallisti. They are paying special attention to food products, testing things for viruses and whatnot.

The Empire apologizes for these delays and for possibility of seeming "mistrusting" of even allies. Our friends must realize that we cannot play favorites in these hard times, and this is all very nessisary for our own protection.

Once again, we apologize.

On a side note today: It seems the Kallistian industry of Tokyo Island has been brought to a crawl, and people are leaving the island for unknown reasons. Workers seem to be staying, but their families are being shipped to Illuminatus Island (the main island of Eris Kallisti). These people are being set up in a town near the closest port on Illuminatus Island. We were unable to get a quote from the Mayor of Tokyo City, but the Minister of the Kallistian Defence Squad, Alex Wazzat, had this to say:

"Its a matter of defence. We're moving people out of Tokyo City so there will be no one who lives there. Its a place of work, and that might make it a target in some inhumane enemy's eyes. The people who work there can still go to work, but they will have to take a tram, boat, or plane from now on. This service, of course, will be free of charge for workers with good attendance records"

That was all we have heard so far... more to come at a later date.

IC: The small consulate of Alcona and Hubris forwarded an intellgence breif to the Privy Concil of the FKC...

OOC: A&H looks upon your nation without any emperial ambtions. Although we do worry about your regional location...

As for a few other FKC nations, we wouldn't invite them around. Of course we should point out at this time that any nation attacking Eris should contact the nation 'The Lords of War' and 'Phyric' before any attack.

Well, most don't know anything about one, and a lot of confusion erupted in the main war, so that the defense by phyric has been lost in the confusion...I have been keeping an eye on what is going on.

*Delivered Via standad International Mail marked "Rush" and "Fragile" postmarked: October 9th the plain Mailla envelope arrives at a Kallistian Post office addressed for the Ministry of Foriegn Relations of Eris Kallisti inside is a small Memory stick amazingly well protected by bubble wrap and magnetic shielding but much too small for an envelope of that size... its obvious they intended to keep its contents concealed from the rest of the world, but yet in a world of Highspeed data transfers and encrypted email why send something so small and fragile Via snail mail? it was an odd thing indeed a small light Blue Sony off-the-shelf memory stick placed harmlessly in a large legal sized envelope with no note except for the delivery address.

when the card is placed in a reader a series of colors flash on the screen and a message slowly becomes visible first in an obscure language known as Anchrish the native language of Telcordia then followed

I think this is a good idea Ms. Starr *Alex felt wierd calling her "Nia" now that she and Callisto were technically in charge of things while Eris was away*
