Ships for sale! Sold out!
The Xanthalian Imperial Armada is retiring it's old Lexx class vessels that have been replaced in function in recent years by the powerful Super Dreadnaught class. The vessels are being taken out of production and the fifty vessels that are currently in Xanthalian posession will be sold at baseline prices.
Lexx class (planetary scale weaponry):
The Lexx class is a ship best deployed for only one reason: To start a war. The Lexx class is a giant, unmaneuverable lug designed to use it's powerful plasma and ion cannons to destroy space stations and planets. The ability to store and launch nova bombs adds the capability for destruction of entire solar systems for more reckless operators. It's big guns come at the expense of ship to ship weaponry, and the might of the Lexx class will quickly fall to only a few enemy vesssels if inadequately supported. A large complement of slipfighters and triple redundant shielding helps to offset this, but a Lexx class sent against a target without backup is a Lexx class on a suicide mission.

You must be kidding. What chance does that have agaist the warship favored by people? I don't think it could take on anything higher than a Frigate.

...okay...
I'll buy them for target practice, if I buy them at all...
It's not meant to engage in ship-to-ship battle. Read the description. It's best used to destroy giant targets such as planets or stations, which it does with it's "big guns".
That is dirt cheap. I will take one.

I don't think that could take out a Star base or defense stations either, they tend to be heavly defended, armored and sheilded.
Wolf Kingdom: Okay, it will arrive for you within the hour.
You aren't allowed to have planet destroying weapons i thought lol
Tordor: Then you heavily underestimate the power of it's main cannon.
Raysia: Nobody ever said that. And if they did I didn't hear it. I ran this by on a forum and got it all approved by a number of fellow RPers.
Either way, it's no match for any Capsule Corporation Ship...
Wolf Kingdom: Okay, it will arrive for you within the hour.
Okay.
Raysia: Duh. Weren't you listening? It's horrible in ship to ship warfare.
Tordor: Then you heavily underestimate the power of it's main cannon.
Or you over estamate its power agaist the latest in armoring and sheilding.
Tordor: Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it goes through anything. However, it will go through most heavy shields, and it's barely hindered at all by physical armor.
That would depend on how you are going up against I would say. Some people go beyond simply heavy shielding and armoring to their ships, bases and Stations.
Xanthal, if you use one of these against any Thelas ship, plannet or ally, I will Nova bomb your capitol star system.
Raysia: Duh. Weren't you listening? It's horrible in ship to ship warfare.I'm saying it couldn't attack anything or sustain attack from anything... it's a trillion dollar nuke... big whoop
9 more plz.

Zoir: If they go insane with defense you're correct. It won't penetrate the defenses, but it will still drain them significantly.
Thelas: Um... Considering that I'm selling them, I wouldn't worry about me. We don't take use of these weapons lightly, if we ever use them it will be in declared war. Also, don't think we do not have defenses to counteract nova bombs.
Raysia: It can attack, just pathetically. And you're wrong if you don't think it can defend. It has three shield layers, and they aren't pushover shields, either. They're good and solid barriers.
Wolf Kingdom: Nine more sent.
Dark Templar Protoss: Sent.

Prehaps but its not like you would be attacking one of our Imperal Solar defese bases or Planetary defense stations. those can and have duked it out weapons wise with a full invasion fleet. Thats what they are built for to defend agaist enough firepower to slag a planet long enough for an fleet to arrive.
Zoir: I haven't ever seen them at work, but if what you say is true than yes, they probably can hold off several shots before falling to the Lexx. The other great thing about the Lexx class is that if all else fails in a do-or-die situation, they can ram other ships in a suicide move and destroy almost anything. (This is not recommended if any allied vessels are within a billion kilometers, Lexx class vessels make a big boom when they're destroyed.)
Ya, they were build and they did keep the Demon fleet out of Zoir Space back in the demon fleet war if that says anything.

(OOC: just BTW in our nation AIs have the same rights as humans (more actually))
Message to Xanthal from Blademasters high command (Drayus):
We strongly disapprove of your selling our kind into slavery (the AIs you mount aboard ships) We suggest that you cease this at once to prevent possible "sabotage" that may occur from some of our radical elements.
Blademasters: Our AIs are programmed to do what we wish them to, and in this instance we have ordered them to serve those we sell the ships they control to. Our EIs have the ability to choose, but our AIs, while capable of making decisions within their programming, cannot violate it. They are not sentient.

(OOC: excactly what do you mean by EIs? because our AIs are completely sentient, in fact 90% of our contry including the leader (Daryus) are AIs, drayus is the most advanced AI in existance, proably more advanced than your EIs too)
AIs are exactly what the abbreviation stands for: Artificial Intelligences. Artificial. As in; not actually sentient, but a close mimicing of sentience. We use these on our ships because they can do everything we need them to, there's no need to actually give them the ability to "think".
EIs are Electronic Intelligences. These are machines that actually do think and learn in thier own way, and develop true personality. They're like humans, but better because they can store much more information than us and don't make mistakes. We use these to do the government busywork that otherwise would be done (and probably be messed up) by carbon based beings.
Bump for sales! I don't know what we'll do with these things if we can't sell them!
Gradenk would buy 5.
This is to ensure that our territories would be protected from space attacks.
If you have other complements of ships. Gradenk would like to buy them too.
Five sent to Gradenk. Hold on a sec, I'll get the link to my main spacecraft store. Be warned though, they aren't cheap. Xanthalian vessels are of very high quality.
Here's the store. (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=65437)

Hahaha perhaps its time we put giant fly swatters on our Dreadnoughts?

Might work... But it'd need to be a damn big flyswatter. The Lexx class is over a kilometer in length.
Bump again. Come on my fellow space nations, it's not often you get a deal like this.

that picture you got there is pretty sketchy if you catch my drift
Thank you Xanthal, Gradenk would check the store thread. And we would indeed buy a large portion of it if we're interested. ( We rely on allies for our space industry. Gradenk doesn't have it's own space industry. We created our own ships but it is still not as good as other space nations.

Can you give me a deal for the last 23 of them.
Did any one notice it's a fly's head? Kinda cool but don't you think the cannon should fire acid or digestive fluid a very long distance?

OOC: Have you watch a show called Lexx?
OOC- Nope. Why'd you ask?
Go Lexx! I loved that show.
Wolf Kingdom: IC: Sure. How about $1 trillion for the lot? That's somewhere in the neighborhood of $150 billion off.

OK. Deal.
Awesome. They're ready for pickup whenever you want to get them. Finally, I'm rid of the Lexx class and ready to fill in the open spots with brand new warships!

Send them to the far side of the SOL system. I have my fleet there right now.
Okay. They have been sent to you.
