Hedrox arrived in a small town. it was early in the morning, but already the town was busy.

Josen had been trecking all night. he was tired and needed a room.

"Hmm... a town! i shall find a bed and a drink there!"

He began to pick up the pace...

Hedrox sat at the bar.

"Mad cap ale. Extra strong."

The Barkeep gave him a cautious eye, then poured him his drink.

"2 Gold pieces."

"here. you got any rooms?"

"Yeah, we have 8 rooms avaliable."

"but it said on the sign you had 20."

"Yeah, but Baron Michvagh is in town, and he's bought a bodygurd. you're in room 3 tonight. have a nice day sir."

Hedrox finished his drink and walked outside. The street was busy with activity. He decided to go and find a blacksmith...

Grimm Flood of the Fluttergork Internal Police enters the bar and sits down. The bartender walks by three times without saying anything, so Grimm leans over and grabs him by the neck.

"Blind, Barkeep?" he said in a low growl. "Give me a large whiskey."

When it arrives, Grimm sprinkles some sort of dust over the liquid, causing it to light on fire briefly and then begin to smoke profusely. He drinks it all in one gulp and starts to look around the bar.

The Paladin walked into the bar, walking past a large and very ugly Barbarian. He ignored him.

"I'll have a holy water suprise."

"We don't have that."

"Then just give me a cold beer."

The bartender slammed it on the desk.

"You're almost as rude as that Barbarian that was in here. I guess you want a room too."

"Of course."

"Room 2. there you go." he said, handing Josen some keys...

"Mind if i go up now? i need to get some sleep."

"Not until this evening. Now are you having another drink or are you leaving?"

The Paladin walked outside and saw the Barbarian talking to a blacksmith.

"What's a Barbarian doing this far south?" He asked himself.

He walked over to question the grumpy individual.

Hedrox sat at the Blacksmiths sharpening wheel, working on his axe. he noticed a man in shiny armour walking towards him...

"Great, another annoying big-headed paladin to bother me... What do you want stranger?"

"Cease your insults vermin! I just want to know the reason you are in this town."

The robed figure slowly made his way into the bar. After spending days in the forest, he needed a cold drink and a warm bed.

"Barkeep. A beer and a room for the night."

He spoke from under the deep hood, his face staying completely hidden.

*A figure hidden within a dark brown robe that hid their full body enters the bar, striding up to the counter.*

Takamichi: "Barkeep, ale."

*Came the horse female voice from within the robe, her face hidden by the large hood. A hand covered by a gauntlet appears from within the folds of the robe, placing five gold pieces on the counter for the barkeeper. She looks briefly around her, to her left is a human mage, and her right are a Paladin and a Barbarian.*

Takamichi: I couldn't have chosen a better place to get a drink...

*She thought to herself snidely as she await her drink.*

"If you must know, I'm here to meet a member of the Khadrim council, and i have to go now. Goodbye."

He strode into the bar and began discussion with the man in the Blue robe.

"Now why did you summon me to this hell hole? and why is there a paladin here?"

Little did he notice Grimm Flood sitting in the corner...

Occupation: White Mage.

OOC: The Seraphim are normally described as the highest Order of Angels.

Picture, no, Adiella isn't dressed like this, she's wearing a shirt, some pants, and a White Robe specially fitted to allow her wings to stay loose, to view this just copy it over to the address box and go.

"I'm here to meet him too. why did he summon both of us?"

"Why did you?" he questioned to the man in the blue cloak...

To his side, Hedrox noticed a member of the Sepharim arrive...

"Why the hell are all these people gathering here???"

Grimm Flood tried to follow the conversation zipping back and forth across the bar, but it was too confusing. He walked over to the man called Hedrox and smiled.

"I have arrived from Fluttergork this evening looking for a man. He's a magician, usually wearing a hooded cloak made of navy blue anduan silk. He has only three fingers on each hand. Have you seen him?"

*Takamichi noted the Sepharim, the mortal enemy of her kind, enter the bar. She forces her eyes away, focusing more on listening to the Barbarian and the Paladin's conversation with the man in the blue cloak. The bar keeper arrives with her mug of ale, which she takes and faces her back to the fairy.*

"you're here to see him too? he has a lot of explaining to do! Barkeep! a round of Ale for all the guests!"

Grimm took his ale and wondered if his prey would show his face this evening. As he sipped the ale, he began to carve a new notch on his blade.

Josen looked behind him, and noticed a strnge woman watching them... His holy senses were striking him... she was... daemonic...

He drew his Sword!

"Reveal yourself demon! I know who you are!"

*The barkeep brings another mug for her. Takamichi quietly sips her first mug, speaking to Barbarian without actaully looking at him.*

Takamichi: "Your kindness is a muchly appreciated change from the norm. May fortune smile upon you."

Hedrox jumped to his feet.

"What the hell are you doing! it' just a woman!"

"A demon! I sense her presence! Reveal yourself and face the holy might of my blade!"

Hedrox trusted his sixth sense and went along with the Paladin. He drew his axe from it's hold on his back.

"Show yourself, vermin."

*Takamichi frowns, falling silent within her robe.*

Takamichi: Should have known...

"I trust you paladin, but know that i still despise you. But for now! we fight together!"

"I wouldn't expect anything less Barbarian!"

((OOC: Nevermind.))

*Takamichi reached out one hand, slamming the mug down on the bar counter. The guanlet she wore covered her whole hand up to her mid arm, so it was impossible for a normal human to tell she was a demon when she was wearing her robe.*

Takamichi: "I came here to have a drink, not battle mortals. Now I suggest you put your blades away, as I am in no mood to fight."

((OOC: Um, do you two who IC who the demon is, or do they only know there is one in the bar?))

Profession: noble thief
Bio: Currently on the run from some shady characters that he 'borrowed' some money from.

Vyse jogged into town, making sure he hadn't been followed.
"Damn, you just steal a hundred bucks from some creep, and give half of it to the poor, and the guy hires 20 guys to hunt you down. You can't even make a living anymore." Seeing the tavern, he wanders over, in bad need of a drink and some rest. However, he apparently has walked into a fight. Two guys have drawn weapons and are facing off with some lady in a cloak. "Oh well," ignoring them and going to the bar,"Ale please, and I'd like a room for the night."

He bought his axe to bear.

*Growling low in her throat, Takamichi moves her hand under her robe to rest on the handle of her rune sword.*

Takamichi: "I do not need to explain myself to you. Leave me be."

*Her back was still faced to the two men.*

Hedrox grew angry and his sword grip tightened...

"I've slain demons larger than you before... Now TELL ME!"

Josen made thr Barbarian lower his weapon.

"we are... sorry. Pardon us for bothering you. Sit down Hedrox, violence will get us nowhere."

"now would you please tell us why you are here?"

*A snort slipped forth from the robed demon.*

Takamichi: "Large demons aren't always the strongest ones. You were able to slay my lesser brotheren because they are stupid. I am no easy prey, and I've slain my fair share of over confident warriors during my lifetime. Now, stay your blade..."

*She hears the paladin calm the Barbarian down.*

Takamichi: "I am here to drink, as you are. I drink because I can, I need no other reason. Now leave me be."

*sigh* "I'd better intervene before there's gore and bloodspray all over the place."

He steps in between the two warriors and the demon, his drink in one hand, with his other resting on the hilt of one of his cutlasses.

"Now guys, is this really necessary? This is a nice tavern, with nice drinks, don't go ruining it because of some anti-demonic spat. Sit down and get back to your drinks. And as for you, Madame Demon, I suggest you vow not to do anything particulary evil, such as stealing souls, or whatever, while you're in town. I think its the only way to get these guys to calm down."

Hedrox growled and sat down, gulping his ale in one.

"I've really gotta stop cutting people before asking them questions..."

"Barkeep! Another Ale-extra large!"

"Hmph, dammed demons..."

Bio: Works for Satan himself, rather a nasty chap.

IC: The door was kicked open by a red boot. another demon strode in, this one clearly larger. He sat at the table.

"Give me a Flame Ale NOW Barkeep."

He noticed a barbarian and a Paladin looking at him.

"What are you lookin' at. Oh, Takamichi! it's been a while baby. how's things going on the sould tormenting?"

*Takamichi turns her attention back to her mug of ale, seemingly paying the intervening man no mind. Being a demon, she really didn't need to drink the ale, but she did so because the humans did.*

Takamichi: I am glad this event did not end in bloodshed.


((OOC: Better explain. Takamichi isn't your sterotypical demon. She's very brooding, very civilized. She has a past, but I'm not revealing it. Yet...))

The Paladin sat next to the barb once more.

"What the hell were you thinking? you were asking for death there. Those are the type of demon you don't trifle with!"

"Shut up you big-headed fool...I..."

He was interrupted by a big red demon entering the bar.

"A soul harvester... he's not a nice type at all."

This time, the Barbarian just sat there, his axe balanced against his leg, waiting for trouble...

Fireflame sat and starred at the Barbarian staring back at him.

"Continue to stare at me and you'll regret it."

((OOC: Not that I don't mind, but next time, ask me first before you decide your chara knows mine. It's more considerate that way.))


*Takamichi growled.*

Takamichi: "Fireflame, why do you follow me? Why do you mimic what I do?"

"I just wanna know why you stopped going around with me, why have you stopped returning my portal calls?"

He noticed the barbarian still starring at him...

"You asking for some fool?"

"Bring it on big guy, and we'll see who triumphs!"

*Takamichi snorts.*

Takamichi: "Leave the mortal be Fireflame."

*She pulls back the hood of her robe, revealing her suprisingly humanish face. Well, if humans had ash colored skin and pale pupils.*

IC: The demon ripped off his already tattered cloak, and drew his mighty sword.

"STILL WANNA FIGHT ME MORTAL?"

IC: The Barbarian lept to his feet, bringing his axe to bear.

"Let's go big guy."

Balan approched the tavern tired after a long day travel, he hoped that he wouldn't be driven away like the last place he stoped at.

*Takamichi rose as well.*

Takamichi: "I said leave the mortal be, Fireflame."

Josen starred at the mighty demon.

"Oooh... not good."

He drew a bottle of holy water from his belt.

"Back down now, or i'll throw it!"

Fireflame saw the bottle of holy water, and laughed.

"You've been reading too many mortal stories, fool!"

After being told to back down repeatedly, he grew angry...

"OK ALREADY!"

His head suddenly twitched...

"I've been called back to hell-satan want to see me for some reason."

The Demon opened a gigantic red portal and jumped inside. the portal collaposed behind him...

Balam approched the traven as he approched he could hear a shouting match inside, with a sigh he straighten his back & rose to his 9 feet in height. With a loud snort he pushed open the door and bent over to enter the traven."

Hedrox put his axe down.

"Hmm... would've shown him a thing or two..."

*Takamichi sat, out of the corner of her eye spying a Minotuar enter the tavern.*

Takamichi: A minotuar? This should be interesting...

Hedrox looked to his right, and smiled.

"Is that... is that a Minataur? I haven't seen any of them scince my old friend Jerahn the Minotaur Prince! How's things back in your kingdom my friend?"

Balan entered the traven & saw a angry looking barbarian with a loud snort he made his way over to the bar. He looked at the bar keeper and said "Barkeeper..a jug of milk and meat please, plus I would like a room for the night."

As well as being a Barb, I am the games master-if anything big is to happen, it'll be started by me.

Hedrox looked to his right, and smiled.

*Takamichi downs the second mug of ale Hardox bought for her.*

Takamichi: "That will be all..."

*Drawing up her robe, Takamichi stands, and starts for the door to the tavern. Passing the Paladin, she passes along a Telepathic message to him.*

Takamichi: "I wish to thank you for stopping that crazed man with the axe. It's been almost a hundred years since I've taken the life of a human, and I had no intention of breaking my oath..."

*The message had passed between her and the paladin in the span of a blink of an eye. She continues on her way to the door.*

"I...I... What?"

The paladin stared at the demon leaving the tavern.

"No problem lady."

((OOC: And? I flipped a quarter. It came up heads. Had it been tails, I would have used Mika, my other demon chara. And she doesn't believe in clothes. ^_^))

"I have already ordered a drink...you can pay for it if you wish." Balan sat down near the fire, the chair gave a noise like it was almost ready to collapse. "As to what I have been questing for....well I am a healer and I have been searching for the ledgenary healing staff of the Gods. With it I will be able to heal unholy poisons from the land and my village, if they are stilll alive." With that he gave a sigh and looked down at his hands clenched on the table before him.

"Unholy poisons? I may have the solution my friend."

He reached into his belt.

"Here. this potion will remove all poisons, toxins, and the Unholy."

*Sigh* "Trust a paladin to carry somthing you need..."

Balam looks over "An exlixer of life? I have tryed that my friend...but alas it doesn't cure only halts the poison. No only the Staff will be able to cleanse the poison from my village and my people." With that he gives a sigh and looks back down at his hands.

"Friend. I have come to this. I shall join you in your quest, and fight by your side!"

Suddenly the door of the tavern is flung open as an Elven Ranger stamps into the room. Glancing about, he sits down at an empty table.

The Barkeeper glances at the Elf in disgust and walks over, "We don't treat your kind here. So get..."

Before the Barkeeper finishes, the Elf brings out a knife and threatens the Barkeeper. "I'm gonna stay here, so don't do anything stupid..."

Occupation: Ranger/Hunter
Bio: A former member of the Elven Royal Guard, he resigned in protest when the King was forced to abdicate and was exiled. The King has since disappeared. Omnius then began wandering the lands, in order to find his sworn liege...

I'm going to take a nap now. We shall continue this later (kepp posting though.)

"Many thanks my friend, but I should warn you that my journey will take me into the forests of tar'tarlianka home of giant spiders and other foul beings. I have found out through my prayers that it lies within the catacombs of the ruin city of tar'tarlianka, if you still wish to come I leave in the morning."

Omnius glances up at the group of fighters together in a corner. He is amazed by the assortment of races that have gathered. In all his life, he had never seen much of an amalgation of races. He had gazed upon empires and nations filled with racial hatred and he feels happy that the races are slowly learning to live in peace with each other...

*Outside the Tavern, Takamichi pulled the hood back up over head. She begins to leave town, but stops just outside the town limits, waiting for someone?*

ooc:- Going to bed...will continue in morning..if you are still here.

Gulping down the ale that the a bartender provides, the Ranger stamps out of the tavern, continuing on his journey...

I'm usually not on in the mornings, but all, please keep going!

Before Omnius takes four steps, he is accosted by four Orcish Warriors carrying battleaxes and swords. Gesturing towards Omnius, one of the Orcish Warriors says, "You, elf... You will die... You kill many Orcs. Big bounty on you head..."

"Bounty eh..." Omnius replies, "None of you are worthy of collecting a bounty on me..."

Before he finishes, Omnius stabs the speaker through the neck with his long sword. Then whipping out his two poisoned dueling knives, Omnius plunges them into the breasts of two of the other Orcs. Then cutting the last Orc in the stomach, Omnius sneers in disgust and after collecting his weapons, stamps off...

IC: Adiella has been sitting in the Tavern this whole time, nursing a drink quietly, obviousley lost in thought.

OOC: Might not be able to reply at once if someone speaks to me.

Thor finally awoke from his trance. He looked around the tavern to see a room full of many different races. Some he knew would be here, othere he had no idea.

"Barkeep. An ale please."

Thor waved his hand, the gold appearing on the bench.

Before Omnius goes anywhere a firebolt flashes out in front of him, Omnius barely blocks part of it using his enchanted long sword, but is blasted back fifty meters. Omnius trips on a flagstone and falls over. Slightly wounded, Omnius tries to rise to his feet, but is stopped by a massive foot that stamps down on Omnius's badly damaged chest. Omnius yells in pain...

An Orcish Warlock is standing on Omnius... "Hehehe... What a weakling... And I thought you were gonna be strong because of your bounty... The money is now mine... Muwahahaha..."

As the warlock is laughing, Omnius kills him with a quick slash in throat with one of his poisoned knife.

"Never underestimate an Elven Ranger..." Omnius said, as the Orcish Warlock falls over dead.

Thor could sense the battle outside, but he was not concerned as he knew the elf could handle himself.

A faint blue glow illuminated Thor, the magiks he had employed were still bound to him. Still he kept silent, he was busy with his own thoughts and not conerned with the happenings of his surroundings.

"Friend. I have come to this. I shall join you in your quest, and fight by your side!"

Finally Thor was finished. He sat upright and looked around the room.
