Osaria --- Omzian People's State News Network
At 10:01PM Omzian Central Time yesterday, a ballistic missile test has successfully commerced in Omzian waters, by the only commissoned Ballistic Missile submarine in Omzian Navy, ONCS Ohio.
The ballistic missile, a Revolution VI SLIRBM (Submarine Launched Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile), could be launched from the Trident II SLBM missile tubes of the Ohio Class, as the Revolution VI is a reworking of the Trident II D5. The missile could reach targets 4500km from the launch point. The missile could carry up to 3 MIRV (Multiple Independent Reentry Vehicles), each measured between 80 kiloton to 180 kiloton. The CEP of the missile is measured between 180m-120m, pertty accurate for a SLIRBM. It has an inertal guidance, followed by GPS data receiver aid. [OOC: The Trident II D5 also has a kind of GPS receiver I believe, for aid in guidance.]
This test should show the Omzian Navy's nuclear arsenal is still functioning, after Omzian People's Liberation Forces begins to reactivate the Omzian Nuclear Weapons Development Program at 2009, since 1985 when Omzian Nation officially declared nuclear free.
Officials have commented on the test, saying it is just "a test of the Omzian nuclear arsenal".
